that's lots of potential civilian casualties there, also, folks on Kinman are very pro-China, so shelling them would only turn them to the DPP. Instead of shelling or attacking Kinman, the focus should be to disable Taiwan's air defense systems and surface-to-surface missile batteries.

Uh... no. The other possibility is restarting plutonium production. Do you people think China forgot how to make plutonium or something - the reactor it used to make the plutonium it has is still there!

Or, you know, you could just solve the problem in the same way you solved it before.

it is inefficient and unsafe by modern standards if it is still restartable, which is no guarantee. It is very risky to even attempt to use it.

Meanwhile the Lanzhou enrichment complexes have been under constant use and is modernized.

That so? Then why is there construction around the complex?

I don’t know why it is so hard to believe that PLAAF will attempt an intercept. They’ve done that with foreign planes, including fighter aircraft, numerous times in the East China Sea and SCS which recently culminated with the chaff incident. Why would Pelosi’s plane be any different?
Perhaps those other times the subjects didn't have a dozen or more F18s and F35s escorting from all 6 sides... perhaps...
