US gives Texas back to Mexico, cedes Guam and Okinawa to China. Promises not to defend Taiwan. Then China will consider giving up Senkakus.

We are dealing with Americans here remember. As such, we really should be using American negotiation tactics.

Thus China should first lay claim to Hawaii and Alaska, and then demand America gives back Texas to Mexico, cedes Guam and Okinawa to China before China would consider dropping its claims on Hawaii and Alaska.

China wins hearts and minds by helping to build infrastructures, while AUKUS can only make hissing sounds.

Regarding the UN mission to China: "Western pundits demanded transparency of the visit, but won’t mention her US comments (about gun violence). Interesting, eh?"

The UN report is well balanced:

:rolleyes::rolleyes:
three things, ‘a beautiful sight to behold in regards to justice being down for something any responsible person should be capable of not doing’ and ‘the CCP controlled by husbands driving somehow’ and finally ‘that stirring wheel is made in China’

Face it, for Pelosi, that one comment able how the riots are a’beautiful sight to behold’ has rendered your life being put though a very ‘interesting time’, one that is bound to get more and more interesting for her and her colleagues, as if the shootings in Texas didn’t make life more interesting for her and the USA already and we are only just half way through the year. On the other hand, does Brandon need a pacifier since things are only going to get worse from here

From my previous post,

Another election on Sunday that has consequences for the US and China.

Columbia ranks second by population, third by GDP, and forth by land mass in South America. The leftist candidate Gustravo Petro is projected to win. If elected, it will be another push for Latin America to assert a more independent path against the Monroe Doctrine that Latin America is the US backyard.

Now heading to runoff June 19th.

Colombia's presidential election appears destined for a runoff, after preliminary results on Sunday showed no candidate had garnered over 50% of the votes.

With 98% of the votes counted, early results showed left-wing candidate Gustavo Petro with just over 40% of the votes, the populist former mayor of Bucaramanga Rodolfo Hernandez with 28%, and right-wing candidate Federico "Fico" Gutierrez with 23%.

Petro and Hernandez are now expected to face each other during a second round of voting on June 19th.

In 2021, leftists won presidencies in every Latin American election but one, including Peru and Chile. In 2022, look like leftist candidate Gustavo Petro will win in Columbia and another leftist Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will likely win in Brazil too. Two bad years in a roll for the US in her "backyard", and could be a significant gain for China at the same time.

In 2021, leftists won presidencies in every Latin American election but one, including Peru and Chile. In 2022, they could take Brazil and Colombia too. Why?

The US and Australia both prioritized geopolitical control over economic development help for the countries in what they considered as their own respective backyards. Now both US and Australia are facing the consequences.
