Idiotic EU Commission wants to confiscate and sell Russian assets in the EU. In other words they will steal pipes and gas storage tanks. If Russia does the same to EU assets in Russia they will steal factories, power plants, mines, oil and gas exploration facilities, etc. Also consider what happened to Poland after their state gas company stole assets from Novatek, i.e. the Russian state put Yamal pipeline partially owned by the Polish state gas company in their blacklist. If these countries steal Russian assets then Russia might just cut all the energy exports to them. And they can keep the empty pipes and gas storage.
