Most intense wars after WW2 were probably Korean & Vietnam Wars, not this one.
Russia reverse engineer Javelin and make thousands for their own use, like Iran reverse engineered TOW into Toophan.
Im kinda doubt that tho, as back in Syria, Russian actually captures Raybolt ATGM which have similar attack profile as Javelin, yet they seem never really interested in the first place to build a fire and forget ATGM's.

The Iraqi military deployed more than 600,000 troops while the Coalition deployed almost 1 million soldiers. With that in mind, this conflict is much smaller than the Gulf War.
Gulf war 2 was initial shock and awe and than insurgency with enormous cost to protect Green zone.
This one more closer to Syrian war. Syrian cities atleast Government control are far better protected than Iraki cities this due to slow methodical approach.. . Russia can maintain 50 to 100 combat aircraft and over 100 choppers with relatively light foot print in Syria.
US never faced full Turkish support against with million of refugees from North that Turkey can use it anytime.
Turkey capabilities are at different level than rest of Middleast . it is the aftermath that matter not the initial surge.
