Now read Article 12 again.

Has Finland exited the Treaty of 1992 with Russia? Has she announced intention of doing so?
I read the whole goddam treaty just in time to add a single line to my previous post that the treaty has no legal bearing on Finnish NATO membership lol

Interesting how touchy the West is when it comes to Zelensky and any accusations of neo-Nazism in Ukraine. I guess primarily it's because that was one of Putin's excuses for the invasion. The biggest counter the West has is Zelensky is half Jewish as if somehow that precludes him from any white supremacist associations. What about that professor, who is Jewish, where she recently called for Asians to be discriminated against in immigrating to the US? Back in the late 1800s in the US leading towards the Chinese Exclusion Act Jewish synagogues let the Klan have anti-Chinese meetings there. Was it because there's a belief in white supremacy among Jews or was it because it took the Klan's attention off of Jews so they went along? Some of the most prominent anti-China voices in American politics are Jewish. Is it because there are so many of them or do they hide behind Jewish voices to discount any accusations of racism? So where does it say that Jews can't be associated with white supremacy?

Find me a line where NATO is an accepted means for conflict settlement for Finland and Russia in the treaty -

Article 1

Relations between the Parties shall, in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and the Final Act of CSCE, be based on such principles of international law as sovereign equality, abstention from the threat or use of force, the inviolability of borders, territorial integrity, the peaceful settlement of disputes, noninterference in internal affairs, respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, as well as equal rights and the right of peoples to self-determination. The Parties shall conscientiously fulfil their obligations under international law and, in a spirit of neighbourliness, work for mutual partnership and coöperation with all countries.

Article 3

The Parties undertake to maintain the border between them as a border of good-neighbourliness and coöperation in accordance with the Final Act of CSCE, respecting its inviolability and each other's territorial integrity.

Article 4

The Parties shall refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of the other Party and shall resolve disputes between themselves by peaceful means in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and the Final Act of CSCE, as well as other CSCE instruments.

The Parties shall not use or allow the use of their territory for armed aggression against the other Party.

In the event that Finland or Russia is the victim of armed aggression, the other Party shall seek to bring about a settlement of the conflict in accordance with the principles and provisions of the Charter of the United Nations and CSCE instruments, and shall refrain from giving military assistance to the aggressor.

Article 5

The Parties shall work decisively to enhance the effectiveness of the United Nations and CSCE in the preservation of international peace and security. They shall support international efforts aimed at disarmament, weapons control and the strengthening of confidence and security in the military field.

Should a situation arise which threatens international peace and security, or, in particular, the security of one of the Parties, Finland and Russia shall, where necessary, enter into contact with each other with a view to using the methods stipulated by the United Nations and CSCE for the settlement of the conflict.

Because of the war in Ukraine, I've started following Xi Yazhou, Shilao, and Yankeesama on Bilibili. I must say, I'm extremely impressed with their depth and breadth of military knowledge at such a young age. All of these guys are in their early 30s or younger.
When there isn't a war on the military watcher team at Guancha are also a great source of information on the PLA, hence why you will see their names mentioned often in other parts of this website.

I think both Shilao and Yankeesama's dads were officers in PLAN. They cultivate a close relationship with PLA so you see them get to do things like drive a Type 96 around on the training course. Their yearly coverage of the Tank Biathlon (and of course their coverage of this war, particularly the first few days were they did the full day live coverage) are considered must watch by PLA.

Putin isn't going to nuke anybody. Why? Because he's not suicidal.
If Putin isn't going to break out the nukes in any case, NATO should intervene and cripple Russia's invasion within a week.
Lots of Ukrainian civilians to be saved if that's the case.

Until today, I was still thinking there might be some hope for a deal but it is clear West is not giving an inch to Russia (even oil ban is coming) and Zelensky is getting more bold by every passing day. Therefore now I am certain Putin will bring whatever he and Russian army has, too. I expect next days Ukraine cities to become ruins. Ultimately, Russia will probably annex most of Ukraine.

World is governed terrible. This is a 100% unnecassary war which could have been avoided by just NATO saying "we will not enter Ukraine". Anyhow, we will see more money literally wasted on weapons. Good time to buy MIC stocks.
