Honestly this Mig29 deal will start WWIIII

Stop it now !

these Eastern European hate Russia so much they are going to get UK Nuked

i think UK knows this and honestly just hand Ukraine over and call it a day

Ukraine is fighting a losing battle and will only suffer more the harder they fight
I don't think they give a s*** about Ukrainians life, it's way better for them that this war is gory to paint Russia as a pariah state. Would be better to turn their back and wait for the dust to fall. Russian are taking bigger hit than they were planning for sure but it need to stop before a nuke fest for sure.

Imagine for a moment if the current Ukrainian regime were an adversary of Washington ... The cries of the imperial scriptwriters would be heard in the Andromeda galaxy.

And they signed a new treaty that reaffirmed both countries' commitment to not use force or allow their territory to be used against each other.

Just because the Treaty of Lisbon has a proviso for mutual defence it doesn't necessitate military participation from neutral EU states i.e. Finland, Sweden, Ireland, Austria and Malta... should they choose to maintain their neutral stance, that is.

A new treaty with nothing in it that forbids Finland from becoming a NATO member, and also this:

Article 12

This Treaty shall be ratified and shall come into force on the day of exchange of the instruments of ratification.

The Treaty shall remain in force for a period of 10 years, after which it will be extended for subsequent periods of five years, unless it is denounced by either Party, who shall so notify the other Party in writing no less than one year before the expiry of the corresponding period of validity.

----------

This is fast becoming off-topic but here are two articles which explains how, why and when Finland would apply for NATO membership and what the obstacles are:

Now read Article 12 again.

Has Finland exited the Treaty of 1992 with Russia? Has she announced intention of doing so?

This is a very nice analysis by Guancha.cn, good for those who understand Chinese:

Because of the war in Ukraine, I've started following Xi Yazhou, Shilao, and Yankeesama on Bilibili. I must say, I'm extremely impressed with their depth and breadth of military knowledge at such a young age. All of these guys are in their early 30s or younger.
