I am now starting to doubt if Russia can win this militarily. They've already lost politically and soon economically.

Decades pass with nothing happening, then a week passes wherein decades happen. The Cold War is back and it started with a Hot War.

There's also indirect evidence of the Tu-160 heavy strategic bomber.

Yesterday, a video of a FOAB detonating in central Ukraine was posted, at an airbase.

It's the biggest conventional bomb in the world, the thing looked like a tactical nuke detonating.

Russia shelling cities? Hardly a surprise. They already had the entire book on sanctions thrown at them, now "The West" is left with no way to escalate political/economic pressure in case actual bad stuff happens.

Yeah. Nice of them to sanction the Russians so much the Russians no longer have anything left to lose.
They have experience with previous times when even after doing all they could to address US claims for cause of sanctions they never got sanctions relief. Detente with the Soviets only happened when they reached nuclear parity with US. The Russians know the US won't negotiate with anyone weaker than them. The thing is, the Russians today have superiority in terms of nuclear arsenal. And the US ignores this at their own peril because they assume the Russians won't use nukes. We live in dangerous times.

Yeesh. Wonder what the GDP would look like by the end of 2022.

I've always likened them to a RC Cessna, dropping glide bombs light enough to curl with one arm.

Just let those 5th column oligarchs flee to London then hit the economic reset button.
Russia is if i'm not mistaken food independent, and has its a lot of domestic industries and sectors.

Perhaps because you're focusing on drone footage from the Ukrainian side.

What you haven't seen is the impact effects of the MLRS barrages on Ukrainian formations.

Take a UCAV strike and multiply it by like x1000, that's one 1 barrage on an Army formation.

What we also don't see is air strikes on Ukrainian C4I nodes and critical military infrastructure.

Ukraine's Eastern formations are literally surrounded, and so is Kiev, with amassing resupply.

The idea that Ukraine can 'win' this militarily is still a fantasy.

This war is bringing out so many mixed emotions in me that I thought I'd never have.
