Yeah no shit. Russia might use tactical nukes on their airbases.
Remember when they sent the MiG-31K to Kaliningrad a couple days back?
Russian OTH radar can see their unit movements across the whole of Europe.
They know the whole flight path and the landing sites.

That's the problem.

Neither side is looking for that decisive engagement, that final fight.

Ukraine started the war in guerilla mode, and the Russians came in an did a large scale search and destroy missions.

Ironically, the defenders are not retreating to the countryside, they are retreating into the cities, because there is nowhere to hide in the countryside because Ukraine is all flat.

They got convoys running around, and running into each other. That is what we are basically seeing, if the reports are true.

It should be all over pretty soon.

also they allowed Zelebskyy to become a international star via Twitter and social media and internet caught on it went viral

after all these years of hacking and cyber attacks Russia had ZERO plans for taking down the social media warfare

however there is one underlaying issue

Russia should not have invaded with 3 armies into Ukraine, very very big mistake

it should have at most taken those partial regions of Donestk and Luhansk

if it really wanted to they could have taken whole regions of Donestk and Luhansk

but whole Ukraine? a huge mis-judgement and tactical error

bombing cities into submission 100% works. It worked in Baghdad for the US and worked in Berlin for Russia itself.

The problem is that it takes a ton of time. US had it in Iraq, Russia had it in Germany... Russia does not have it in Ukraine.

I was going to say that this won’t happen but then again Putin did invade Ukraine in an all out, poorly thought out assault so anything is possible. Luckily for me I’ve bought two cases of sparklingly water last weekend so I have plenty of bottle caps when the nukes start flying.

We are inundated with Western propaganda and their controlled social media. Lots of people on here take it at fact value but we really shouldn't. There probably a lot more info on Russian websites but they are either Shadow banned or blocked.

This is like saying why china doesn't fight a better social media way to debunk Xinjiang claims. Western media is quite good at switching attention and burying the facts.

This is what I feel too. I posted it a couple days ago. Their plan is not to dominate but to weed out the fighters. We may blame them for being slow but none of us know their timeline and we are just blaming their incompetence based on Western social media which is very pro Ukraine. We will have to see the final result before passing judgement.

This is why his strategic nuclear arsenal is now on alert. He likely anticipated this. Those ICBM moving to Moscow may be more than just a parade.

Say what your want about Putin but I have found him to be ahead of the curve on a lot of stuff. If he did not under Ukraine and just recognized the separatist part, Ukraine would not stop to reunite those regions with war. Given the fact that sections are coming down even with recognizing those separatist regions, then hearing zelenaky take about nuclear weapons, he decided to strick now. Cause 5-10 years form the road, if Ukraine is in NATO, and they attack the separatist regions, then Russia will have conflict with NATO and will be in an even worse position. He basically said this in he's speech. I don't blame this strategic decision. Otherwise he would have doomed Russia 5-10 years down the road.
