There's an inherent double standards and conditions set against Americans of East Asian descent. Case in point, there was a former national security or state department official of Korean descent who was barred from working on Asian related issues even though he's background is actually more suited for the area of operations and area of responsibility, but nope, the people staffing that dept. were composed of mostly WASP and of Jewish heritage.

Christians believe everyone is born of sin and the only way you can absolve yourself of sin is by following the word of God meaning becoming a Christian and obey blindly what Christian leaders tell them what to do or command. And when everyone does bend over backward, there's born again Christianity where everyone has to prove themselves more of being Christian again to appease Christian leaders. And when everyone becomes a born again Christian, everyone will have to do it again to become a born and born again Christian and so on and so on... It's a bunch of power hungry people that won't let anyone actually become Christian because they enjoy that power watching people bend over backward to prove to them their Christians. Anybody with the own culture are sinners and evil in nature because they don't become Christians.

It's all about power over others. The West accuses China of many human rights crimes. How does China prove to them these things are not or no longer happening? Is it as simple as not doing them? No, China will have let the West takeover China because only when they are in control of everything in China, that is only when they can say those crimes are no longer happening which mean never just like Christians will always have to be born again and again and again because this has been always about the few having power over others. If people get what they want, the few will no longer have power so why would they want to lose it by giving what people are seeking?

Can someone here honestly still clings to the notion that the current state of the U.S government heavily corrupted, co-opted by the private sector a.k.a. military corporations really have that much advantage over China? I have already read different defense publications shitting on these expensive, untested, untried, and hyperexpensive programs (F-35, LCS, Zumwalt, Expeditionary Combat Vehicle etc.) and it left me shaking my head in shock not to mention disbelief to read how massively wasteful, woefully inefficient the U.S. military procurement programs are with no accountability whatsoever; no one gets punished in the slightest not within the Pentagon idiots who approved the fraudulent programs, and not to the leeches on the defense companies who relish on fleecing their own people.

I don't know if the failures of the U.S. handling of Covid-19 pandemic; from their failures in managing their own military readiness and procurement program with zeal and competence one would expect from the supposed mighty U.S. I am left with this nagging feeling and thought that the U.S. is a paper tiger. Take away their numerical nuclear weapons advantage over China what have they really got?

Perhaps am rather being silly and too narrow minded and even idiotic and making this statement but I don't think China has to fear from engaging the U.S. forces if it's forced to use military force as a last resort against American misadventurism in Taiwan.

As for the upcoming Putin-Biden summit, here's the following observations from a Russian military author and blogger:

Especially knowing that whatever may be negotiated and settled with the US at this possible summit will not be worth the paper it will be written on. When the US did a massive expansion in the money supply to defense programs back when Reagan was in power the same thing only did not happen because people like David Packard and the "Fighter Mafia" were around. Well, not anymore.
The US does have decently performing programs, like the Virginia submarine, but those are getting vanishingly small.
Because of all these failures, the US is now resorting to importing weapons systems from its allies. The frigate program is one example.
The APC program might be another.

America does not do "Long term" interest thinking anymore. The country from people, politics, businessess with the exception of it's military are allergic to taking the long view on a myriad of issues that's bedeviling their country. The issues of immigration, education system, foreign policy etc. are all done in a feel good way or what sounds good on a bumper sticker and that's hardly the winning recipe or formula in overcoming the structural deficits of the country both culturally and politically; how then is America expected to beat China?

We often complain about China's supposed inanity or amateurish ways of conducting media propaganda. How it lacks the "sophistication" and effectiveness of American Pravda. My answer to that is simply that China was and isn't wholly focus on propagandizing itself to the world when it knows fully well that she has a lot of work to do to fully serve the needs of it's people. The effectiveness of propaganda can only do so much in today's global interconnectivity and the ubiquitous use and access to the internet. I am sanguine when it comes to the Chinese approach and long term strategic planning and it's eventual outcome that's going to serve the collective interest of her people. A propaganda based on lies can only go so far and at the end of the day the lies can only become reality if the needs and interests of the people are forgotten or thrown at the wayside. Look no further than America or much of the western world. No amount of their self-serving propaganda can blind it's people from seeing the truth which is practically staring them in their faces: America ain't what it cracks up to be.

Thanks for that information about David Packard and the "Fighter Mafia" because it lead me to read up on those two entities and their influence in the U.S. military.

This is entirely predictable by anyone following Dems/Repub negotiations over the $1.9 Trillion Infrastructure Reconciliation Bill. Biden as a seasoned veteran of US Politics for +45 years likely knows the Republicans are playing politics and engaging in "Obstructionist Mode" when it comes to every Biden admin policy, regardless of how popular it is with the American public.


If they can't even agree on Tax Rates on Wealthy (overwhelmingly popular with American public) or Increased Infrastructure Spending (overwhelmingly popular with American public) , then bipartisanship on an issue like China will just be hard to come by. I don't feel confident on "Bipartisanship" on China, it's just token lipservice, there are many on Dems that view Trade War as disastorous failure and tariffs as a net negative that hurts US Consumers more than Chinese manufacturers. There are many Republicans that view Biden as a puppet of China no matter how tough he acts or sounds.
