Meh expect lengthy negotiations, then lengthy competition process, lengthy lawsuits between various of govs, then appeals to the lawsuits, then lengthy construction projects.
Then cost overruns, lobbying and corruption on local gov etc.
The list is endless..

People hasn't acknowledge, but Chinese style governance to an extent has won.
Government starts moving to regulate internet content including user generated content, industrial policy, autarky, and so on.

And since the US has exorbitant privilege, printing more money means that lead is extended due to enhanced inclusion and capital formation

I said that before.
Instead of China adopting "Western values", what will happen is that the West will start slowly adopting elements of the Chinese system
In regulating content and industrial policy maybe. Not a single country has achieved autarky and no one is moving towards it. China's policy until recently was not autarky and hopefully it does not move in that direction because it will not work.
On a country level autarky might not work but in a coalition of say China, Russia and Iran you have a really powerful triangle of power and control over the Eurasian landmass. You pretty much have energy, food and tech with that combo.
Maybe add Pakistan and Indonesia into the mix once they get into middle income regions and you have pretty much replaced the EU population.
