1. Because Indian government believes that it has the necessary stock for its people. I clearly mentioned that in my previous post the amount of the stock is debatable since we don't know how much will be required if at all it is useful (as stated by Dr Fauci).
2. Right now >20 countries have requested India to provide this medicine of which India is the largest producer. If it happens that a certain country's request is denied then we will see what happens to the soft-power you are so concerned of.
3. It's called API. If China decides to stop the export then that will be another feather in China's cap. I don't honestly expect/wish China to shoot her foot, again. So if she does that we can talk then. :)
You assume when I say stop exporting that no meds would be produced? China can ramp up their own big pharma and use up the ingredients and export the drugs which would mean the Indian companies get screwed. Same with pretty much all the other big pharma that makes generic drugs around the world.

Denmark, Finland, Austria and Norway seem to have turned things around. On the contrary, Sweden's situation seems to be getting worse. Death rates have spiked. Although many conservatives still argue herd immunity is the right way to go and Sweden is a success rather than a failure.

Geez it's now getting tiresome. The 'foolish' doctor didn't want to antagonize the press. I understand.
As I cannot read French so I am in position to decide what exactly he said. Some publications had said that he used racist comments against African people and the doctor apologized. I don't see the reason why I should learn French to understand what exactly the doctor said. For some unknown reason you do. Could you please do us favour as we have been discussing this way off topic thing for quite some time. Please have a short phone call with the doc and get to know what exactly he said. Straight from the horse's mouth! Thereafter share the transcript with your valuable annotations.
We can decide then whether the doc actually said anything racist at all.

Regarding the helping part. Don't mind but I have started to believe that you may not have good comprehension skills as far as English language is concerned. Please read carefully what I said. I said that most of China's allies are developing nations. Helping a country doesn't make it an ally. In various cases China has helped Japan and vice versa. Does that mean they are allies? Of course not. Similarly China has helped Italy and Spain. Does that mean they are allies?
Maybe you should improve your reading comprehension. I clearly said, if you read the original interview transcript. It is in French, but there is something called google translate. In Canada, french education is mandatory starting in grade 3 in most provinces.

I only speak 3 languages fluently, English being one of them, and my French and German are rusty. Since you are so sensitive about the English language, perhaps you should read the posts more carefully.

You are moving the goal post, your original post said all the countries China is helping are poor, I gave you a counter example in Spain and Italy. I said nothing about allies. Countries will help other country if they feel like it, but since majority are poor, if everything being equal, going to help out more poor ones.

VFacts will always trump any arguments.
Which is why I posted facts about G7/UN votes and about the actual minority identity of those calling for lawsuits as opposed to just calling them, "the US" or "the UK" simply because they live in those countries. On the other hand, your post was entirely conjecture about future lawsuits.
Let's wait post virus period, we will see who is right.
Certainly
My predictions usually spot on.
Well... really anybody can predict that the US will try to use every technological choke-point against China including semiconductors. I remember you also predicted that there would be military conflict between the US and China while Trump is in office.

Can anyone link the articles stating covid originated in China? As far as I know most scientist cannot confirm the origin and Chinese scientists including zhong nanshan said the wuhan wet market is unlikely tne source

Hi, I've found a few epidemiological studies on this topic.

The original study is titled "Decoding evolution and transmissions of novel pneumonia coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) using the whole genomic data". You can google it if you want. The authors only put their manuscript on ResearchGate. I don't want to link it. You can goole it and it should be the first one on the list.

I am also citing a couple more following studies:

As you can see, although everyone agrees that the Wuhan seafood market may not be the only place, Wuhan should be the place where the outbreak originated.

The four countries you listed also have been shutdown for over a month. Sweden is just behind the curve. The good news is that Sweden have very low population density outside of a few major cities. While denmark and Austria are pretty packed, or seems packed to me when I was there.

Then simply do it.

You must understand that MAJORITY of those countries are poor developing nations and no matter what they feel they are practically helpless.

In British English majority doesn't mean all. I don't know what they teach in Canada but my bet is that there too majority doesn't mean all.

Just a give it a rest. Don't rupture your blood vessels. You should not not get sick and unnecessarily increase the pressure of already strained healthcare system.
