PLAN Anti-ship/surface missiles

I'm unable to locate the source of the original video, however the graphic shown in that part of the CCTV report was a fan made video originally.

However it was also one of the earliest depictions of a land attack YJ-18 variant in the same vein as the aforementioned 3M-54 and 3M-541 relationship (in fact it seems to depict the 3M-54 and 3M-541 directly in the video graphic), including accurate depictions of the respective lengths of the missiles.

Subsonic land attack Kalibr is much shorter than supersonic antiship one is beyond a doubt, and should fit within a 7 meter deep VLS. YJ-18 appears to be a straight off rip of the Kalibr family, I would expect them to follow every step.

Supposedly there are meant to be some differences between YJ-18 and the 3M54, but it is certainly heavily influenced without a doubt.

In particular I'm interested in whether we could ever get some exact dimensions for YJ-18 (length) as well as some details about its booster; the 3M54 family have potato masher fins on the booster, I have yet to see clear pictures of YJ-18's.

As for the length of the land attack variant, yes I think there is a good chances that YJ-18's land attack variant may be capable of fitting in the 7m deep UVLS, following similar precedent and pattern in the 3M54 family.

My post on the previous page included a table with dimensions for the 3M54 family missiles, which will probably prove instructive for the YJ-18 family as well.

Parade rehearsal. From the looks of it, these are YJ-18s under the wraps.

Finally see a photo of the supposed CJ-100.

Were there any hints on range and target types in the past? Might have missed it if mentioned here.
