Really, her skin looks like porcelin. The accompaning photos in the link are mostly recruitment models for advertisements. There are only a few that look like real PLA soldiers.

Believe me! If you'd ever put on a uniform, you'd appreciate every one of them! They're so much easier on the eyes after a day of dealing with hard-legged, butt-scratching, sweat-dripping, cussing males. You go into the orderly room, and a young female types up your latest request for transfer, or helps you avoid having to see the first sergeant, and maybe even smiles at you -- and your morale just went up 5 points! And if you're questioning why so many females in roles that put them on the firing line sometimes: They have proven themselves just as mentally-tough and dedicated as the guys! They may lack upper-body strength, but in a team situation, that's compensable. They're just as capable of squeezing a trigger as a guy - and some are deadly shots! And, yes, they free up males who might otherwise have to drive fuel trucks and direct traffic and check identification. Those types of roles are ideal for females.
It's all a question of competence! I was a "dinosaur" for a long time. I didn't figure women should have equal rights -- instead, they should demand all the special privileges the traffic would bear! Since then, I've gotten to know some of these young modern women, and my respect and admiration has grown! If they're competent, I don't care if they scratch their butts, chew tobacco and cuss like a bosun's mate - as long as they can do the job!
If you're a reader, try some of the "Honor Harrington" SF novels by David Weber. You'll gain a whole new perspective on women in uniform.
And, plus which, if you're stuck in a foxhole with somebody and they smell like chewing gum instead of chewing tobacco -- well, consider that a plus!

Take a good look at pictures 2 and 3: There may not be any 10's here, but I don't see any 4's, either! One gal in photo 3 looks just like the girlfriend of a fellow photographer on Flickr - and I know she cleans up really good!

Their arms too thin and skin white. Porcelains indeed, fragile ones. I am not surprised to see so many girls in the Chinese army. The looks of the girls in those photos are way above the average Chinese girls of their age. If they had been trained like real soldirs are, they would look like real. This suggests that they are the "military artists", part of the political structure unique to the Chinese force (as well as other communist countries). One link actually gives snapshots of a TV show. So my feeling is that these pictures are not real representation of female soldirs in Chinese army. Shame on the stupid propaganda. Show us real soldirs for us to be proud of :china:
look how long some of the girls hair is. The PLA stipulates that the female soldirs' hair should not go under shoulders. Look at the hair of girls on the boat, and the girl aiming. Only "art performers" may be granted the exception.
