I remember Will Smith was attached to do a remake of Colossus: The Forbin Project. It was about a US defense computer, before Skynet, that started to communicate with its Soviet counterpart and they both decide to take over the world from humans. The strange part which I don't think they would include in a modern version was the computer essentially raped a woman because it wanted to procreate which was born at the end of the movie. That one too I haven't heard anything else.

I watched the Original Colossus, It was a morality tail about the Cold war. Where The Us created a Super Computer and once it was turned on it announced the Russians had one to, Then the American and Russian computers demanded to speak to each other, and to meet there designers. Things break down as the Russian Computer ordered the Execution of it's builder and the American takes it's creator hostage in order to protect him.

Yeah I'd say. Anyway I could see a Colossus remake, heck Transcendence started to boarder on it or a episode of the Twilight zone. I just Hope Will Smith isn't in it. I really don't care much for him as a Actor. And it seems like his career has plateaued and now he is getting the stuff Tom Cruise turns down, and Tom Cruise is pretty much a has been in my book.

One of my sons and I saw two movies today.

Transcendence was a decently done sci-fi, thriller. Depp played a decent role, as did the star playing his wife. It's pretty cerebral, and does make some very quick huge leaps in technology without a lot of meat other than that the Depp embodied AI makes these "breakthroughs." Just the same, it was a good movie if you like that sort of cerebral sci-fi...kind of some reminders of X-files type thriller.

Heaven is for Real was a very well done faith-based, true story of a little 4 year old boy's near death experience and how his Mom and dad and their community, particularly their church, has to come to grips with it. Very inspiring movie. Also highly recommended. You will come away feeling good.

The flying monster looks like Gaos from the Gamera movies. I don't know why they gave Godzilla brontosaurus/elephant feet.
