What's even the use of this national team? Just to waste money? If it wont bring results it should be disbanded. Chinese culture is usually super competitive thus bringing you good results. Yet this doesnt seem to be the case for football.

If China can't find 11 half decent players then they should do what Arab countries are doing. 8 arab teams qualified for the world cup. For Iraq 16 out of 26 players are born outside Iraq. For Morocco 19 out of 26 players are born outside Morocco, actually in their match against Brazil which was a 1-1 draw, all 11 active players were born, raised and played outside Morocco.

China should go to Europe, Africa, Latin America, Japan, South Korea, search for decent players of Chinese decent, doesnt even have to be 100% Chinese blood, they could be 50% or 25% Chinese decent, grant them citizenship and have them play for the Chinese national team.

At least with football you don't need to be so tall. Wu Lei who's probably China only international tier player was originally rejected for not being big enough. That's how we know Chinese football don't know what the hell they are doing

you dont need to be tall for football. Messi is like 170 cm. so he is shorter than the avergae Chinese man. it is about speed, talent, and endurance.

I think you can 100% depend on the fact that China will eventually solve the puzzle of how to fully surpass the US/western semiconducter industry, Civilian aircraft manufacturing industry and basically surpass the west in every single way. however they will never figure how the fk could they have a half decent football team. and by that I don't mean a team that could beat Germany (like what Equador did yesterday) but I mean just to have a team on the level of say Jordan.

US on the other hand bans just for Chinese ownership, regardless what law they follow.

China wanted tech transfer to develop its industry. The US bans just for being chinese owned. Polestar just owned by geely. It was even produced in US.

China needs to show reciprocity now. Equal treatment. No more timidity. Ban em all

their mission is not to be the best team and win the world cup over night. their mission is just to qualify and then lose a regular loss and maybe score a goal before getting out. like if they get 2-1, 4-1 losses that would be good enough for China to finally have enough courage to host the world cup and not worry about the men's team being an embarrassment.

you know show off the massive infrastructure. maybe hold few matches in Xinjiang so the foreigners can see for themselves how it is like rather than depend on just youtubers. Fifa world cup usually get's more attention than Olympics. then you could say the Chinese have achieved two of the objectives set by Xi (Qualify and host) leaving only the last win.

yes FIFA gets more attention than Olympics and who will increasingly get to decide where FIFA tournaments happens. those who has developed the skills of managing foreign foot ball clubs, Coaches and recent FIFA. Even if cup happens in other continents it will attract Royals.
Royal purchased Two FIFA world cups from Europeans. In one of the FIFA world cup they essentially reduced to one City. and second world cup in Saudi is essentially reduced to 4 cities. they dont want share with other countries like US/Canada/Mexico.
They didnot had much interest in Olympics in 2013 and these were previous generation Royals and this in English.

My Chinese isn’t great, but I believe that is basically saying “German market, quiet split system with dual function” (which I assume to be the heat pump)? I remember reading about the Porta Split, this product was designed by Midea Germany specifically for the EU market, so the reviews are generally quite favourable, making the unit popular. It is generally much more efficient than a regular portable AC, and quieter than a window unit. That price seemed shocking (about 5x normal), which is atypical. The current price is normally 2x)

Yes, this should be called out. Although in HK, he probably needs Cantonese more than Mandarin. A few weeks ago, I met a Pakistani fellow who grew up in HK who spoke fluent Cantonese, and it’s not uncommon for Filipinos since many are domestic workers.

When Chinese exports of Aircons shoot up in these summer months, will the EU cry about overcapacity? The US and EU wanted Chinese EV technology too. Some even appealed to China saying that it's fair after they transferred ICE car tech to China to access our market. They were rejected, so they now weigh whether to ban. They'd jump at the chance if China said we'd open joint venture manufacturing with tech transfer in their countries.

No, China needs to do what we've always been doing, which is robbing them blind. If we ban, we ban; if we come up with a different solution, we do that, but the decision is made by those in the CCP who understand more than you will ever.
