I mean, scientifically the solution is pretty obvious: for certain countries, if China truly want to improve relations with them, China simply also need butcher thousands of their people. The social-historic reality is, a lot of cultures really do believe the strong has the right to abuse the weak, and they really do believe lack of abuse means lack of strength and as such give them the right to abuse, you really can't project egalitarian beliefs onto everyone.

e.g. if China actually wants to have friendly relations with Japan, China really do have to nuke them, it's literally why the majority of Japaneses believe they didn't lose WW2 to China. If China wants better relations with countries like India or Phillipines, China really do need to colonize them (I know it sounds awful), or simply bomb and butcher them, it really is what they want.

The idea that everyone believes in equality is fundamentally wrong. There really are two kind of cultures in the world: those who believe everyone is equal, that everyone are born the same and deserve the same (egalitarian cultures), and those who believe people are not equal and that it's the right of the better to take from the lesser (primitive cultures).

IMO it's a common and easy mistake for egalitarian cultures to make by assuming everyone else are equals and as such also egalitarian. Egalitarian beliefs really need to be adjusted to take into account objective cultural realities of primitive cultures:

You should only consider those who believe in equality as equals, for those who don't, you really need to treat them like s*, because they will love you if you do and treat you like s* if you don't. If this goes against your egalatarian beliefs, just remember that you're only respecting their culture by treating them like s*, to treat them as equals would be imposing your belief on them and that would be the actual abuse in their eyes.

At an individual level we know there are masocists, that a lot of people do seek to be dominated and abused, it's the exact same at national/cultural level and the way it evolved are exactly the same. We really need to accept objective scientific facts.

Cultural masochists do not make up any significant portion of a population regardless of country.

People generally don't like you if you're mean to them.

The pattern you're observing is less about abuse (although it does play an important role in reinforcing the psychology at play) but more about wealth and other signals of superiority.

At some point in history China was clearly regarded as a higher civilisation compared to its tributary states similar to western civilisation to the majority of the world in the 20th century and persists still.

People place enormous importance and value to beauty. Make your cities beautiful, make your people beautiful which you can achieve through fashion and indoctrination by bombarding and normalising your image as the archetype of every positive association. Make your military strength the greatest and have more wealth. That is the secret sauce, not abuse.

All these things signify superiority and those who consider a culture and civilisation as superior will naturally feel more okay about being abused by that culture/civilisation. That's whats at play when it comes to Philippines and many other places. No one wins hearts or approval by being an ass.

China lost a lot of that edge a long time ago. It has been rebuilding it.

The west have more beautiful cities and more appealing culture. Arguably better looking people too even if for nothing more than because their image (and especially image of their most attractive ones) are so ubiquitous globally. Imagine if some east asian nation has had the strongest military for over 100 years and demonstrably so. Has had the images of all their best looking people bombarding every screen for 200 years and their specific physical traits normalised globally. Have the best infrastructure and most beautiful and livable cities. Then every other group naturally considers that country the greatest and defaults their culture to be superior. Mistreatment from that country is reinforcing the superiority. That's how all humans work including westerners and east asians.

India has weaponised its population by exporting its cheap labour to the world to bring in remittances. Notice every trade deal with India has a clause to ease visas to Indians to enter and work so they can take the limited number of jobs available especially entry level jobs where the local youth work to gain experience. Now these jobs are filled with middle age Indians while local youth unemployment in many countries has skyrocketed.

The global job market is extremely tough as the global economy is struggling after COVID lockdowns, high inflation, trade wars, energy disruptions. Adding to that you have huge numbers of Indians coming in and taking the jobs available in many countries and you see why there is a global pushback against Indian immigration.

Indian future is bleak. AI is replacing their outsourcing industry and China has the supply chains in the manufacturing industry which is now upgrading with AI+Robotics. US and EU want to reindustrialise too so India has more competition.

Overpopulation with a large youth population is a disaster in the age of AI and robotics. That demographic dividend that Indians bragged about is now a major source of their problems.
What are the numbers regarding the jobs that have been taken over by AI/robots? A large youth population is still far better than a population of geriatrics and robots. Developing countries still have options to industrialize through local legislation, they don't have to accept finished goods and packaging, that can be done at home. Furthermore, R&D belongs to no one and can be a driver of growth for developing countries (start ups, sale of technology, etc). Even if AI and robots take over labor, how are people going to work and make money to afford goods?

Some people dont, some people do, "most" isnt all, and for those who dont fall into "most" catagory you have to accept reality.

Most countries dont have a caste system, most countries dont want to be colonized, but India has a caste system, Phillipines likes being colonized, and Japan clearly likes getting nuked.

You have to respect people's cultures.

Also making yourself better is entirely subjective. Most people might consider clean, efficient infrastructure to be better, most might consider a high quality affordable car to be better, but Indians really dont believe infrastructure matters, and the Japaness really do prefer buying their own garbage.

Being better is for your own benefit, if you really care about getting along with others, you need adapt to what others like, and for these cultures, what they like is dominance and abuse. e. g. Chinese EVs will objective sell better if China nukes and occupies Japan.

Trump is a great example, he is someone who assume everyone is like Japan, which is also wrong and net more wrong than assuming everyone likes being treated nicely, but for countries hes right about, he's clearly able to extract anything he wants from them, I mean just look at how India's enjoying their ships getting bombed. Hell just look at how submissive Gulf countries vecame after Iran bombed them.

Infact, you can make the argument than Iran is only able to do well in this war because they realized a lot of countries really do likes being abused, countries that include America

India particularly under Modi is quite incompetent and did not look for oil/gas off of her long coastlines /nor shale oil and ,lacks economic/infrastructure resilience at the national level to protect herself during a crisis and assume that the USA/ west will be always friendly/supportive of india(because we are so anti-China!)-absolutely wrong and the latest physical attack on india is indicative of the world's pushback against indians'scams, fraud ,predatory business /tax practicesand invasive immigration practices -all the modi bowing, kneeling and unwanted hugs/hand holding is for naught in the realpolitik world.
I think this current push back is due to Modi making too many tours to Europe. India exports and remittances only exist due to Gulf Royals and US. even contemplating of buying a Rafale is insult. that exactly what Putin was telling Indians that India is too poor and Russia built Su-57 without Indians and that offer still stands. Remember the Guest was Saudi but Putin made India the topic but Indian too dense to understand it.

Two Indian journalists are giddy over the prospect fo India joining the French FCAS program.

They are so excited, that the FCAS program could allow their great Supapowar to leapfrog into 6th generation jets. You what, I would actually be happy for India to join the FCAS program. India can offer to France what Germany never could: the power of Jugaad, and Vishwaguru. Jai Hind!
I watched. there are two things that he not fully understood. He said French aircraft were of high quality than Russian in Indian inventory. They are high quality because Dassault has that business Jet that essentially created for North American market and later Mideastern Markets. When dealing with business jets the highest quality is most important.
Soviet/Russian aircraft manufacturers simply dont have that opportunity untill recently. They were built with communist thinking.
second he mentioned that Su-57 does not dominate Ukraine airspace since it is not Stealth. Which is dumb statement. He lacks understanding about Ukraine conflict.
Putin is very refined person with character and that qualities he developed from his own population that has greater Soft Power and Putin approach to Ukraine conflict is somehow make them numerous or influential. this is what Royals celebrate.

This engine is direct result of Ukraine experience as the original 5+ engine more concentrated on power not fuel efficiency and electric power.

UEC unveiled its latest fifth-generation aircraft engine for the first time.

"The world premiere of the fifth-generation 177C engine, which boasts high efficiency and increases the range of tactical aircraft, will take place in China. The latest 177C engine for tactical aircraft boasts improved performance and is a fifth-generation engine," the statement reads. UEC noted that its fuel consumption across all engine operating modes helps reduce operating costs. "Furthermore, the engine provides increased energy consumption for the electronic systems of modern aircraft. The power plant also increases their range," the corporation explained.
