I’d argue that we aren’t the ones doing shitposting when the White House twitter and Commander in Chief does this sort of thing on a daily basis.

CVN-80 Enterprise delivery date shifted from July 2030 to March 2031

CVN-81 Doris Miller will now deliver to the Navy in February of 2034 (instead of 2032)

Personally I think these dates are still optimistic. Expect another 1-2 years for Enterprise and 2-3 years for Doris Miller.

They actually built Nimitz class carriers at a stable pace, I just think too much industrial base contraction has happened post 2008 which is hurting their output. Not sure how they can fix it really at this stage.

Would be interesting to know how many subsystems are evolution of B2 subsystems, cutting a lot of time and development problems. Nice to see something on track in the US, so many projects going awry.
