Incredible if true. Lets not forget Iran has the F-4E Dowran upgrade applied to at least some aircraft, that includes new electronics and MFDs, modern Bayyenat radar, and seemingly the Baz BVRAAM as unveiled last year, plus likely the Azaraksh SRAAM too.
Probably the only thing it’s useful for since it can’t carry a bigger stick than MICA. MIG-29 remains the best BVR fighter in the Egyptian inventory.
Wonder if we're going to hear about yet another "laundry fire" aboard an american DDG.
