  • Chinese regulators plan to restrict technology firms from accepting US capital without government approval, as part of Beijing's response to Meta Platforms Inc.'s acquisition of startup Manus.
  • Agencies have told private firms, including Moonshot AI and StepFun, to reject US-origin capital in funding rounds unless explicitly approved, and similar restrictions have been decided for ByteDance Ltd.
  • The intent of the restrictions is to prevent US investors from taking stakes in sensitive sectors where national security is a priority, following the Manus buyout which triggered a probe into illegal foreign investment and tech exports.

If he actually wanted to save money they'd install water filtration systems and automated treatments for mosquitos. Probably modernized automated robotic cleaners too.

Painting it blue is the same kind of Trump Hotel trash as installing plastic facades in the new ball room, instead of brass or gold plating.
