2026 Iran War Strategy and Analysis

That's incredibly generous of President Trump, and one of the many reasons why he's the greatest American president in history!

Interestingly, just five days ago, on Saturday, March 27, President Trump hinted to a largely

Perhaps to convince Zhongnanhai to take the deal, President Trump ought to first rename the Strait of Hormuz . . . I mean the Strait of Trump, the Strait of Xi! :D

I think both China and Iran might be open to the compromise of renaming The Strait of Hormuz to the Strait of Trump’s Folly.

You can substitute AA launchers with combat air patrols. USAF has hundreds of F-15s and F-16s. They could have massed more frames to help patrol the skies and shoot down missiles.

That means less fuel for and less strike sorties, though and they don't seem to be doing well on the magazine depth of AA missiles either. Plus, they tried it back in june and stuff was still getting through and I can only imagine things haven't gotten better now that the most of the AD radars in the region have been damaged or destroyed.

And you have to stage those aircraft somewhere in the region for them to be useful in that role, which means even more crowded airfields and higher chances of repeating the E-3 fiasco.

There is also the whole thing of any time a missiles is hung under a plane, it reduces its life if is not used, which means there will still be some magazine depletion even if you don't fire them.

It is a balancing act, but as mentioned previously, they prepared for the war but they did it based on the wrong assumptions and erroneus data provided by the israelis. They basically pulled a Nazi Germany against the USSR, "kick the door down and the whole rotten system will surely come crumbling down", a classic blunder of systems built on racial or religious supremacy.

Regime change alright...

Trump will go ahead with the plan to send troops to secure the nuke material. Does the US intelligence really know where Iran hide their nuke fission? They think it is hidden inside one of the underground nuclear power facilities.

I watched a video where they said it is stored inside several canister tubes and these tubes are small enough to fit inside a Toyota sedan.

If Iran hides their nuke material in a nuclear facility, it is really a bad and obvious hiding place. a random house in the outskirts would be a better idea.

The whole idea is stupid. They could be in fortified bunkers that would take several hours and very heavy machinery to cut through the door even without being under constant seige or they could be hidden or whatever. The plan is as stupid as sending 10 guys with no camouflage into a hostile city that was warned and waiting for them to rob the bank vault.

Wang Yi talked to SA, EU FMs and GCC rotating chairman making same statements "UNSC must not provide legal backing to illegal war".

The readouts did not mention what SA, EU and GCC wanted from UNSC, but Wang Yi has made clear that China will kill any such attempt. In my memory it is the first time that China makes her objection long before anything even reached UNSC's table.

I know some people will bring up Russian-Ukrainian war, but who cares, there were already numourus illegal war carried out by the west ever since UNSC was founded. Now it is our time to be "selective". And it is especially beautiful that so far I have not seen any report from EU.

They don’t have to actually get the material, they just have to claim they did. This is a face saving measure.

Except even getting the nuclear fuel is only sufficient to calm down the greatest magatards in US. Let's say the mission was a success with some casualties. Mission Accomplished! Pack it home, boys!

Iran still holds the strait, Israel is still attacking Lebanon and Iran, and GCC will continue to burn as they are wimps.

With their recent purge of Army Chief of Staff for a yes man, the odds of a landing is getting bigger and bigger.

In the best case scenario for US is after landing and occupying the coastal provinces, people do start to revolt against Iran, but the blood price is going to be hefty.

Sorry for double posting back to back, but I couldn't edit my old post anymore.

My guess with yesterday's announcement is Trump trying to calm the market and people as much as he can. If he does intend to leave Iran, he would have said it directly and the market will go up. But since he has to put boots, he has to say the most neutral statement ever.
