White House may have uploaded that video unintentionally

Trump says Americans don't have the "patience" to take the country's oil, which is "unfortunate." (Timestamp: 36:50)

"We could just take their oil. But, you know, I'm not sure that the people in our country have the patience to do that, which is unfortunate. You know, they want to see it end. If we stayed there, I, you know, I'd prefer just to take the oil. We could do it so easily. I would prefer that, but people in the country sort of say, 'just win, you're winning so big. Just win, come home.'"

Trump's "

" tonight was at best anti-climatic.

Mostly just a lot of fluffy praise of the American military and of himself, and some rather laughable sales pitches directed at the American public.

Looks like Trump is still undecided about next steps when it comes to Iran, and wanted to see if tonight's speech would increase public approval of him, as well as to gauge whether he would be able to bolster public support for potential major ground operations against Iran.

How nice of Donroe to suggest handing over the Middle East to China on a silver platter!

Also, China sourced about 40% of its oil from the region (not just the strait) and not 90%.

That's incredibly generous of President Trump, and one of the many reasons why he's the greatest American president in history!

Interestingly, just five days ago, on Saturday, March 27, President Trump hinted to a largely

Perhaps to convince Zhongnanhai to take the deal, President Trump ought to first rename the Strait of Hormuz . . . I mean the Strait of Trump, the Strait of Xi! :D

Typical of Trump of words and facts twisting. His people, advisors probably gave him some facts about China buying records from Iran. Thru his usual pretentious braggadocios blowhard manner of him, he will re-arrange the facts and words, twist it around as make it seems completely opposite. Like Iran selling probably 90% of their oil output to China from Iranian perspective/side and from China side, due their resource balancing (not too depend on 1 supplier), Iran accounted 15% of oil import. So from Trump, he twist this fact around and exaggerate to his many uneducated listeners mainly those Americans that's out of jobs, on the streets, with short attention span and listen to this big numbers and simplication too busy with their daily stress of life to even bother fact checking anything and just take it in whole as truthful and from their President...

From AI/Google:
As of early 2026, China imports approximately
13% to 14% of its total crude oil from Iran. This makes Iran a key supplier, with China purchasing about 90% of Iran's total, often heavily discounted, oil exports
