I'm afraid there would be no sincerity, until a more China-leaning and friendly administration is put in place in all branches of government. Even then, a majority of our population is so brainwashed, on par with Indians and MAGA, that there seems to be an irrational baseless hate towards the Chinese. The SCS dispute is insufficient to explain it, it's as if our entire history was under oppressive Chinese colonial rule for hundreds of years...or we just have the loudest and most annoying online troll presence per gdp capita in the world.

I think it stems from Chinese diaspora succeeding in business and even politics in the Philippines which leads to a lot of local resentment. I mean, the pride of the Philippines, Jollibee, was started by a Chinese guy. (jk :p) These feelings then get transferred onto China as a whole and the SCS disputes get blown up into generational hostility level hatred.

Filipinos have learned the ways of their colonial masters: RACISM.

That is the unfortunate truth. Filipinos are no different from those Malay supremacists who both loathe and fear their own ethnic Chinese population.
Having said that, it is also true that their own ethnic Chinese groups are the ones pushing the most virulent anti-China narratives—for business, cultural, religious, and political reasons. Who knows the strength of their own people better than fellow Chinese when it comes to business? And you expect them to throw their arms wide open to stiff new competition from the motherland just because the newcomers are fellow Chinese, when their own businesses have become the incumbents and permanent fixtures in their adopted countries? See SM, Jollibee, PAL, and San Miguel Corporation as a few clear examples in the Philippines.

I wonder what's their end goal is by making the energy crisis worse since it hurts their primary donor Europe, do they think that it's not going to effect them or something.

Attacking Russian refineries won't make Russia stop exporting oil as long as Russia has enough capacity to export oil it will export just at higher prices meaning they're still going to profit.

Their strategy of attacking oil refineries would have worked far better for them before the closure of the strait of Hormuz since it would decrease Russia exports while everyone else can just buy from GCC or America meaning Russian economy would be affected but with the closure everyone is scrambling for alternative sources and since there's not a lot of them a lot of countries will be willing to buy expensive Russia oil.

Basically taking out export capacity while demand is high just gives Russia the excuse to increase the premium on their oil.
