Regime change is the preferrable option because a leader that will follow your interests and a population that is sympathetic to your values is the best way to ensure long term reduction of hostilities. That's why Israelis still delude themselves in the the view that Iran is some kind of cultured Persian ethnostate that hates Islam and is awaiting the return of the king in Pahlavi.

You and others on here are not being serious if you think the US and Israel can just "terror bomb" Iran until its more destitute than Afghanistan. Do you even know what that will entail? It will mean multi month long run with billions of dollars worth of bombs reducing every city in Iran, every UNESCO heritage site that is the pride of the Iranian people, to rubble and killing upwards to 10s of millions. (Bombs mind you that require rare earths to manufacture and which the US would prefer to save in a future war with China.) That is basically genocide, which would invite a very strong international response. There is no instance in history of terror bombing on its own actually getting a population surrender, or nevermind history there's two modern day examples in Ukraine and Gaza.

The simple fact is that unless the US plans to occupy Iran, the result as always, will be once the bombing campaigns are finished Iran through the destruction will still be a sovereign nation. It will still be a populated country and it will become a country that will hates Israel and the West's guts for generations. Their people will rebuild with the help of China and actually work towards making more capable defences and of course a nuclear deterrent to ward off any future Israeli or American attack. Thus as always with Israel, whatever short term security they buy for themselves through brutality, ensures the existence of a future threat and peace being ever more elusive.
Agreed, the whole point of regime change is that destroying a regime is incredibly costly, but a regime change has the possibility to be a net positive through tribute and fighting for your interests. Attempting to destroy a country and failing is the worst situation to be in. If you do it to a small country, it is a moral problem, but when you do it to a country the size of Iran, or, the size of 4 North Koreas, and make it into a big North Korea, then... you have a real problem.

The Iranians has been importing TBMs I think from China and also domestic. So they may have larger tunnels, deeper tunnels, tunnels with unknown angles than more people expect. And they excavated more after the 12 day war and probably even as the war go on. Even with low yield nukes I think is probably extremely difficult to deal with them.

Chinese should make it clear to the Iranians that these tunnel boring machines only stay in Iran and are not transferred to India.

looks like this was how the U.S. soldiers were captured, from an abortive landing. Also, are the Iranians fighting to a soundtrack? No one wants to get their ass best to a soundtrack.

Of course alienate. Many gulf Arab countries like Qatar, Oman etc had very good relations with Iran and had even been trying for years to mediate and get sanctions off Iran. But now that Iran has been attacking (irrespective of if their reason is right or wrong matters little) their infrastructure, oil and port facilities etc with even casualties this countries will start seeing Iran in a new light as a hostile actor in the region which is exactly what Israel wants and what Israel has been claiming by trying to convince this countries for a long time that Iranian regime is a threat to the region . So this plays and favors Israel completely .

Moreover ,you are talking about how Iran has been sanctioned isolated and impoverished with this sanctions and isolation and how gulf Arab countries have prospered as if its gulf Arab states problem . lol Iranian Islamists leaders made their own choices and policies . You are free to make your decisions and policies but can’t be mad at the consequences of your very own decisions and act jealous and mad at others who made different decisions dude. lol Everyone is free to make their choices in life and so they should be ready to shoulder the responsibilities of their choices .
so acting like Arab/Gulf states /Turkey are at fault for Irans current condition is a fallacy . These countries are focused on their national interests, business, growing their economy, trade, and enriching their people and making their life’s better, which should be the priority of every government, and so far they have done spectacularly well at that. As Deng xiaoping once said: it doesn’t matter whether the cat is black or white as long as it catches the mice” . Couldn’t have said it any better .
you don’t have to be too ideological in life as a leader of a country . Have to be pragmatic and laser focused in doing everything possible to achieve your objectives and make your country prosper .
In this regard Gulf Arab states have done far better than Iran . Their leaders have been very shrewd and smart to be honest. It’s crazy to think they all have far better relations and economic ties with Russia/China US/India/West than Iran . This explains why no country is even coming forward to help them, they are isolated. This shows Iranian leaders have failed spectacularly in their foreign policy to be honest
Iran is attacking US assets that they host. You dance around this obvious reason.

Why do I get starship troopers vibe from this video? Is it the use of tracers and illumination rounds?

On the contrary, I believe US/Israel openly using nukes on cities to enforce their genocidal and hegemonic will is likely to guarantee that their existing puppets will fall in line completely and totally. Greenland and Canada would surrender and be annexed. This behavior would also compel Brazil to either surrender policy independence to the US or covertly obtain enough nukes and delivery vehicles to create independence. Threat of nuclear force would also be a way for Trump to fully integrate 5 Eyes into a single nation. They would also be able to use this method to annex all of the EU. From there, he can reroute much of their tax revenues to the US directly without mucking around with useless middle steps like arms sales. Why sell them anything to take their wealth when you can just seize their wealth by force? This mentality would be right up the US's alley given their historical and contemporary embrace of annexation, genocide, piracy, etc.
Mr Tom Clancy is that you?
