Just like Korean War-half a dozen or more attackers against the USA's main opponent and you think China won't be facing USA plus major allies like Japan and half a dozen jackal losers hoping for a piece of the spoils in TW-AR???-only the overwhelming . threat of full scale ,full spectrum destruction can dissuade these rabid beasts.

Why do you have this fear? The US already tried that and the attacks on Iran/Venezuela are all the temper tantrums resultant from that failure and frustration.
Just a minor worry-I know China is strong,smart and tough enough with preparations going back decades for this eventuality but the west/Trump are totally irrational and as indicated in Epstein files totally depraved,-evil and now desperate-these SOB's are capable of any evil acts.*sigh*-just worrying.

Not even a minor fear, but the opposite. I want them to target China; the problem is that they don't dare anymore. When they target China, all they get are failures so bad they can't even spin them as victories and Trump starts kissing Xi's ass on Twitter. Now that they've figured out that they're wood and China's steel, they're off to whacking eggshells kidnapping presidents, killing 86 year olds and bombing girls schools. They need to come back to China.
Just another start up promising big for the sake of funding, from what I can tell.
Also, the game was never to prevent the US from getting rare earths, just slowing it down until China has EUVs.
So the race is still on between who gets there first - US with fully independent commercial rare earth supply-chains, or China with fully independent commercial EUV supply chains.
In 2024 (before Trump trade war 2.0), China exported $3.4B of rare earth metals and rare earth magnets (only a small fraction of which went to the US) and imported $385B of semiconductor chips and $49B of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Even losing the entire rare earth market in exchange for just a small increase in semiconductor self-sufficiency would be very much a good trade-off for China.
