US has 6 carriers and a 150k troops and months of prep before invading a much smaller country Iraq.
They're not in a position to ground invade with 1.5 carriers and token ground forces bases, and not with their regional airbases under threat.
Just like last year they like to jump into the fire and then figure out a way out, they might not be so lucky this time.
Footage of Khamenei's body has been shown to Netanyahu? Right. I'm sure just like the footage of 40 beheaded Israeli babies that was shown to Biden back in 2023. Footage that he claimed to personally see with his own senile eyes.
If it's one thing Israel loves, it's making up fantasy stories of things that never happened.
Not that it would matter if Khamanei actually was assassinated anyway. The guy was just a pathetic softy who would constantly cower to the U.S.' demands and incessantly refused to allow his nation to do the single most decisive thing they could do to protect themselves that everybody already thought they were doing anyway, build nukes.

Khamanei's interpretation of the Koran is what prevents Iran from developing nuclear weapons, is that correct? Why would Iran's enemies want to get rid of this person? Iran should want to get rid of this person!
if Khamenei indeed turns out to be dead. that would be the biggest win for Trump. not because anything would change in Iran. actually the Iranians would just replace the old Ayatollah with a new Ayatollah and nothing would change in Iran. however if Khamenei is dead Trump can finally save himself and declare victory and end this war. because if it continues then that would be political suicide by Trump.

Iran is striking every airport (UAE, iraq, qatar so far) US planes could rearm and refuel at, and I doubt turkey would allow them to land in them, so its Saudi Arabia or Cyprus (those bases certainly cannot support a large amount of planes anyways)
