If the 12 Day War is any indication, this whole thing is just going to escalate by the day. Iran seems to prefer spamming missiles and drones randomly in the beginning of its counterstrike campaigns in order to stress and deplete US and Israeli AD, and then move on to striking targets more boldly, precisely and aggressively as time goes on.

It makes sense though. US and NATO tactics are all about seizing the initiative and attacking quickly and powerfully. They suck quite badly at any sort of prolonged warfare. So Iran's best course of action is to stretch this out and make the US regret ever starting anything.

Attrition through what? Depleting Iranians missiles by getting hit by them and launching 3+ interceptors per incoming?

US don't have enough force to do a ground attack, they don't even have enough ammo to intercept all Iranian missiles, they're just trying to manifest a pro-Epsitein uprising in their head because Israel really couldn't understand why people don't like pedo cannibals and they really convinced themselves everyone loves them.

I mean the original plan was to try to attrition military targets in Iran and defenses, and also try to do some decapitation strikes across the territory before launching a full ground invasion like they did in Iraq.

However this plan might not be going too well considering the Iranian response.

Not everything works well all the time, very simply put. They are very lucky these arent Russian or Chinese missiles or they would be dead right now. There is footage in Ukraine of patriot radars and the command stations getting blown up, Iranian missiles as we can see have very poor accuracy. That's what makes Chinese/Russian missiles such a big deal, if even ONE gets through, its going to hit on point exactly and its crew and system is dead. You cannot miss even a single missile.

No, that is a purely civilian hotel that just happens to directly neighbor a long-abandoned US Military base that hasn't been used since the 1850s. As a matter of fact, there are no active US soldiers anywhere in the Middle East right now. All soldiers have been safely evacuated back to the United States. These strikes are being launched by super-advanced US Military AI technology. Iran is fighting against a military power beyond their technological comprehension.

At least, this is probably the nonsense Americans are feeding themselves right now.
