India's lack of a stable electricity infrastructure is a huge strategic disadvantage for them that China should consider before selling them a lot of well priced and reliable power transmission equipment. Keeping India's regular scheduled brown-out (no pun intended
) grid as is or at least only improving marginally and slowly keeps them from gaining traction in manufacturing and industrial output and ultimately weak. I hope the Chinese government considers this and implements strategic export goals in this sector.

But then, I changed my mind, just recently.
I thought Iran was a write off, too dumb to save themselves. They actually made deals with the Indians. What can anyone do to help them?
Now, I wonder. If they are willing to fight, and they have been saying that the gloves will come off this time, then I would expect Russia and China to ante-up something.
Wars are to test new weapons, and Chinese diplomacy been rather good the last 50 years avoiding all and any types of war.
If not Iran, there probably is no other chance.

With the case of Russia, we can make arguments for or against, in the end they are fighting a proxy war in the Ukraine against NATO, or the entire West. Were the Russians suckered into such a situation? We will let future historians to decide.
This potential United States war on Iran, is like that too, but Trump is acting like the willing sucker here. Open the door, if he walks in then shoot him, sort of thing. The Russians faced manipulation for their proxy war. The Americans could be volunteering for their proxy war.

We will see, but Iran will need to demonstrate basic willingness to fight and competence in fighting to convince China they are worth investing in.
China and Russia are likely to have provided Iran with the minimum viable amount of assistance to give them a chance, but they need to seize that chance with both hands and really rise to the occasion to unlock additional support from China especially.
Unlike the west, China’s game plan has always been to reply on itself. It isn’t seeking alliances and it isn’t desperate for its enemy to have a mishap. China’s roadmap is to build itself up to the point where not only can it take on America and all its vassal’s single-handedly and win, but win decisively and overwhelmingly with minimal damage to the Chinese homeland.
It would be great if America burnt its own house down beforehand. But that’s not what China is counting on or looking for.
This is not to say China will not proactively seek and exploit unexpected developments, but it won’t put its main plan at risk to do so.
I hate how she says it's not cool to learn Chinese because "Muh Communism" yet for most of Chinese history, China wasn't communist. They are still using word New Europe in Arabic. This word became less common after Ukraine conflict. Lindsay Graham after meeting MBS mentioned Iranian problem need to be solved for Saudi Vision 2030 which is another way of saying New Europe. and many countries are giving encouragement. Just think how much Soft Power Saudis have accumulated not say anything and people want to do things for them.
