The problem with the current state of affairs is that westerners go to Asia with a misplaced sense of superiority and you see this with British and Australian tourists in Bali and Thailand and observe their behaviour and the way they treat Asians. In fact Singapore and HK pre 97 and pre NSL and arguably current Australia, is how the west would prefer Asia to be, a spectrum of the Philippines as a giant brothel and Singapore as a compressor state.

This reminds me very much of the HK protest.
Western media coverage very much gave the impression that HK was on the verge of a seismic change, with millions on the streets, hundreds of casualties and China's control on the verge of collapse.
The reality and the outcome, as we all know, was vastly different.

I mean, the idea that of all countries in the world, Iranians who just 6 month ago was attacked unprovoked by Israel stands alone among the global population in being the biggest Israel supporters is a level of propaganda plot writing that make you wonder if Mossad is falling victim to AI slop.
Sending ISIS to Afghanistan to attack Chinese interests in the belief it will somehow create instability and degrade China-Afghan relations is something that falls in line with current CIA and Israeli competency.
