Absolutely. China should not just restrict rare earth exports to South Korean shipping companies, but also to all other South Korean companies involved in the defense industry. They are all interrelated.
Hanwha Ocean shares jump 10% after Trump says South Korean firm to build warships for U.S. Navy
China should restrict rare earths exports to Korea shipping companies, as they are building for an adversary.
For example, Hanwha Ocean is a part of the Hanwha Group. And Hanwha Aerospace manufactures the K-9 Thunder SPH for India. They are all supplying weapons to China's adversaries. So the whole of Hanwha group has to be restricted from Chinese rare earth exports. The same should also apply to the Hyundai and Samsung groups.
