For 2 containments there may be 2 turbine generators if the need arises. Literally 2 nuclear power plants R sufficient and are more economical. As more capacity NPP are available and R efficient. For non aircraft carrier ships one containment with 2 nuclear power plants are enough. Even one main NPP, one auxiliary NPP and one water deselination cum steam generator is more then enough.

Still the size of the boxes are about the same on the Ford, so even with four reactors I doubt you'll get more power because now each one of your reactor is going to be tiny. Unless they put submarine reactors on this, there is no reason to not simply just build two reasonably sized ones.
For each containment even 4 NPP units are possible on earth but in ship real estate is very limited. Due to space limitations 2 NPP per containment R wastage of the space. Single NPP is enough and sufficient. Second NPP is like a backup and as energy guarantee. That is reason for 2 NPP in aircraft carrier or ship in 21st century. Now capacity of nuclear power plants NPP is very high up to 2000 MW theoretically.
