Israel is very close ally with the Saudis and Turkey. Let me elaborate. India is the odd man out, since Israel, USA and the Arabian States are very close(The Petro Dollar). These three shares the same monotheistic faith. They all believe in the God of Abraham. I think India is doing this for a very shallow reason not more or less. It is part of their plan into becoming a super Powa Nation. A word of advice for India. Before taking step into becoming a super power nation one must solve the hygiene problem. Cleanliness is next to Godliness after all.

Its the worse death toll for a building fire in HK since the 1996 Garley building fire that claimed 41 lives. From the news reports that I've seen, there were many elderly residents in the Tai Po buildings. RIP to the victims.

There have been arrests as it seems the scaffolding net might not have had fire retardant properties, in violation of regulations, and there were other flammable things like plastic sheets and styrofoam panels stuck to window frames.

I think the Kuril islands can be negotiated by China for its return to the Russians for a trade for a small island in the Artic region for China to establish a permanent presence in the strategic region, courtesy of another japanese unconditional surrender.

Otherwise Russia wouldn't stick to hard to get closer to India especially trying to bring India into permanent members of unsc which is considered harmful to china. I think the ties with Russia would gradually worsen once china reach energy self sufficiency with thorium reactors.

The fire in Tai Po, Hong Kong has claimed 65 lives.

On November 27, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's Fire Services Department released data showing that the fire in Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong has claimed 65 lives, including one firefighter. Additionally, 70 people were injured, 10 of whom were firefighters.
Additionally, the Hong Kong Fire Services Department stated that a male survivor was rescued from the fire scene at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po around 6:45 p.m. on the 27th.
On the afternoon of November 26, a fire broke out in multiple residential buildings at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong, resulting in significant casualties. (CCTV reporter Zhou Weiqi)

Only Indians would consider China their mortal enemy. Frankly, if South Tibet weren't legally Chinese territory, most Chinese wouldn't even bother with it (this might be part of China's strategic plans).
Even if China one day no longer needs Russian resources, it doesn't want Russia to become its enemy. Therefore, maintaining friendly relations with Russia is the wisest choice. You can't try to dismantle Russia just because you think it might be a threat. Doing so will never bring peace; pursuing absolute security in the external environment will only lead to war.
