Zheng Wei: Actually, when we originally designed the emergency plan, there was no payload loading component; it was omitted to save time and launch quickly. This time, because of the 16-day timeframe, we had time to prepare the payloads, and we worked overtime to load them. The amount of supplies and payloads sent this time was more than before.

I hope they sent up more wings. Those might have been the tastiest wings ever because zero-g means all of the juices stay on the wing instead of dripping off.

Heard something about a launch in December for the CZ-12A. IMO, likely to be the first reusable rocket for China.
I reckon CZ-12A has better chance than ZQ-3, CASC had that one prototype rocket which they flew VTVL test flights several times already. The test flights weren't totally successful but they probably gained some good experience and the engine relight part worked just fine:

But probably don't get your hopes up too much for either of them.

At this point it's not really important if it's Landspace or CASC or some other group that achieves the first VTVL.

It's more relevant that there's like half a dozen efforts that are likely to make their first attempt at VTVL in the next six months which is of significance. The breadth of efforts means that eventually someone is going to get it right even if it's not their first go.

Can you list the half a dozen. Landspace and CZ-12 are two. What are the other 4 in the next 6 months? Genuinely curious.
