I mean thats what Japan has always done. I don't think there was ever a time they attacked China at its peak.

Its just they have tried several time and none of them really succeeded in the end. I believe the only major war that Japan ever won against China by itself due to military means was the first sino-japan war. Not the second coz we all know how that went.

Thats why I think one day China will have to address the Japan Question once and for all. Kinda like how the Mongol question was finally answered after countless centuries. The main change was the technology development to remove the geographical advantage.

Imagine getting bamboozled by the US in 2025. Especially already after 4 years of Trump, Afghan government left high and dry, hundreds of thousands of dead Ukrainians, Kurds being slaughtered by Turkey and every single one of their "allies" being taken to the cleaners by Trump in his second stint. This is also just in this century too, disregarding last century fleecings like what they did to Toshiba, Plaza Accord and Alstrom. Too many masochists receiving fell for it again awards lately.

Japan continue to do the heavy lifting to prove China’s case that they have not learnt their lesson from WWII.

Expect China to continue to dial up the diplomatic heat to justify its economic sanctions against Japan.
