Rahul Gandhi "investigating" an Indian appliance factory. He finds out that the core components of the TV are from BOE Technology, China. Only the plastic shell is actually made in India. And the plastic molding machine to produce that shell comes from China. This is the result of 11 years of the Make in India program.

Unfortunately for India, Rahul Gandhi will not bring better results. He is exposing Make in India mostly just to hammer Modi. He himself had said that he doesn't want China to be inside Indian supply chains. Instead he wants to magically establish an alternative supply chain with other "democratic" nations. Rahul Gandhi may be Modi's opponent, but he is just another politician with little understanding of industrial planning.
I don‘t know much about India‘s internal politics but if I were an Indian I would prefer Modi over a nepo baby all day every day.

Lol sweet summer child if you think the real intercept rate is high. Israel's real intercept rate with the best the West could provide was mediocre and it wasn't trying to shoot down ICBMs with terminal velocity of mach ~20. Yes, TWENTY times the speed of sound.
Solution: blow up another nuclear weapon with a blast radius big enough to account for the uncertainty in position.

but seriously, internet says the success of interception is about 50% and we only have one stray missile here. Why is not possible to intercept it with several interceptors? As far as I remember, Israel had a success rate of 80-90% and they were constantly bombared as opposed to just having to face with one missile.

Sounds like you're smarter and more knowledgeable than everyone in the missile defense and nuclear weapons programs of the US, Russia, and China. To propose such a technically and politically feasible solution, it boggles the mind. They should all be climbing over each other to recruit you as their leader.

You're better off not believing bullshit numbers like 80-90%.

Liberal arts degree helps with thinking outside the box.
