Lmao. Few hours before the meeting. Dotard ordered an “show of force” against China by launching HIMARS rockets into the ocean.

“Position of Strength”

I still remember how back in the 90s, western media mocked Chinese artillery on cargo ships as the US menaced China with Taiwan separatism. How the turn tables…

That’s the problem with the western elites — they never have any accountability and always blame the other party. They act so high and might and as if Biden’s dumb fuck policies were actually winning against China. Were they?

Trump instructs U.S. to resume nuclear weapons testing, citing rival nations’ programs

U.S. President Donald Trump has instructed the Pentagon to restart nuclear weapons testing “on an equal basis,” citing testing programs by other countries.

In a Truth Social post, Trump wrote: “Because of other countries testing programs, I have instructed the Department of War to start testing our Nuclear Weapons on an equal basis. That process will begin immediately.”

It was not immediately clear what Trump meant by “equal basis.” The U.S. has not conducted a live nuclear weapons test since 1992, when then-President George H.W. Bush imposed a unilateral testing moratorium.

In 1996, the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty was signed by then-President Bill Clinton.

Trump also claimed in his Truth Social post that the U.S. has the world’s largest nuclear arsenal, adding that Russia and China would match its nuclear weapon stockpile within five years — a statement contradicted by independent data.

According to estimates by the Arms Control Association, the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons and the Federation of American Scientists, Russia possesses the most nuclear weapons in the world.

Russia has an estimated 5,459 nuclear weapons in 2025, compared to the U.S.′ 5,177 and China’s 600.

It's bad for the world but good for China, as China is lagging behind US on number of tests conducted and therefore amount of data collected about warhead design. Resumption of tests would add fresh data to verify new warhead designs over the decades since the last test. US would have a lesser need for new data given the amount of testing they've done during the cold war.

If US does conduct a nuclear test I bet a test from China would come very shortly after that. Work has already been noticed in recent years in the test tunnel.

As Ayi says, you try to threaten China with everything short of nuclear build up then China's response would be just to continue nuclear build up. The correct response from US is to build up her own arsenal but Trump has already taken that Sentinel money and using it instead to renovate that plane that he got as a present.

Supposedly with some barbarian tribes, a diplomat has to beat some of them in open combat to earn their respect. A show of strength as it were.

When the elite class believe in concepts like original sin and that swinging a chicken around will wipe away all do your sins, or that historically their royalty had “whipping boys” as a thing, is it any surprise they behave as they do? The dildo of consequences always arrives unlubed

The meeting ended some minutes ago. How long did it last? It seems like it was about 90 minutes. Trump was going around saying he expected it to last 3-4 hours before the meeting.

What kind of nuclear testing are they talking about? Is it the live nuclear explosion like in the 1960s or just launching missiles with no warhead across the pacific ocean?

Who knows but I wouldn’t be surprised if they start dropping nukes in the desert again. “Show of Force and Position of Strength” is what Trump will tout after dropping 100 different nuclear bombs on America.
