, a developer of remote sensing satellites, has ventured into the field of reusable spacecraft. It has successfully conducted a high-altitude recovery test of a reusable spacecraft called New Journey (新征程号). The spacecraft was dropped from an altitude of 10,000 meters and flew for a distance of 20km before landing within 200m of its designated landing point.

LightYear has just completed an even bigger stainless steel ellipsoidal propellant tank. This one has a diameter of 5m, making LightYear the first private company to be able to produce such a propellant tank.

LightYear has produced a prototype 3.8m-diameter stainless steel propellant tank for the 1st stage of Tianbing's Tianlong-3 launch vehicle. Tianbing intends to place large orders if the tank passes performance evaluation.

Yet another launch startup that I somehow missed. WeLight was founded in August of this year. The company is developing the Weiguang-1 (微光一号) launch vehicle, whose fuselage is fully made of carbon-fiber composites. Spec sheets for both the reusable and single-use versions are below, along with images of a mockup rocket used for training purposes.
