US is pioneer in drone technology those large surveillance/attack drones. I think he is referring to FPV and Shaheed type drones which are not relevant to US since US aim will not be to prolong the conflict and US made small drones will not be cheaper for selling to allies.
I have a feeling Palmer Luckey someday will fall flat on his face for getting something wrong big time. He's saying countries that value life are going to deploy drones more than countries that don't. Funny since the US is a late comer in seeing value in drones while China is building drones up the yin-yang. Guess which country he thinks values life more. Or you can look at it this way and see how Americans don't like drones because they like to be control and has nothing to do with valuing life. If you've heard what fighter pilots think many of them argue in favor of having manned pilots over automation.
US can make 7 to 8 million automobiles to put his example. It should not have difficulty in hundreds of thousands of cruise missiles. it is high speed, bigger warhead that shortern the conflict. Cruise missiles are much easier to deploy than Shaheed type drone that important factor.
