Allegedly, Nexperia China having issues w their "online accts and wages", but partially restored
Google translated
On October 17, Nexperia (China) issued a notice to customers, stating that it had received a notice from the headquarters regarding labor remuneration; and that the company's system permissions had also been completely interrupted. All Chinese employees of Nexperia are deeply puzzled and disappointed by this. In response to this emergency, Wingtech, the parent company of Nexperia Semiconductor, responded, "It is true that the account of the Chinese team was blocked this morning. The specific reason is unknown, and it has been partially restored. Considering that Europe may cut off the system and cut off funds during the state of emergency, China has to take independent self-rescue actions to step up the domestic supply chain and ensure the supply of domestic customers."

Look at the arrogance as usual coming from the West. Hindsight is 20/20. Would've... could've... should've... They think the US could've prevented China from rising. And at what cost? Do they think they could've talked China out of being a competitor? Or are they going to use the military? This is why I look down at those that argue China should pursue the Western definition of "soft power". In their attempts to claim China doesn't have any, they'll argue that China can only get others to go along with them through coercion or force which means China has no soft power. How do you think the US and the West can stop China rising without using money and power? Do you think they can get China to accept the West being their master through kind words? That would be soft power if they could accomplish that. Reality is a whole different animal. The West is so insecure because the only way they can be safe in their minds is if everything was 100% under their control and while at the same time they expect the world to accept them as their master. That is the height of arrogance to bother thinking they could've changed the past as if they could do it all over again and it would be different this time around.

China’s burgeoning undersea sensor net aims to turn the ocean transparent
The PLA is building a self-healing “kill web” to surpass today’s brittle kill chains.
The People's Liberation Army is building an “invisible net” across the western Pacific, a five-layer, seabed-to-space sensor architecture known as the Transparent Ocean strategy that challenges the ability of U.S. and allied submarines (our “black sharks”) to maneuver and hide.

The threat was on display in August during the PLA Navy and Russia's Joint Sea-2025 exercises near Vladivostok. In joint anti-submarine warfare drills, Chinese and Russian forces linked their communications and shared hydro-meteorological and air-sea tracks in real time. The goal, according to Chinese state media, was to leave deep-diving submarines with nowhere to hide.
(China's ability to detect western ships near China coast is seen a threat?)
