Just going to say I'm not shocked, and we should expect many more of these in the coming years. At some point, Chinese going to study anything remotely related to AI or chips in the West is going to be literal suicide, but just with more steps. These guys are really smart, and yet too stupid to understand they're choosing to put a real target on their backs.

This one uses magnetic treatment process to process 6 million ton of medium grade iron ore for 1.95 million ton of 66.7% iron concentrate. Which is important since China has a lot of medium to poor grade iron ore.
Northern rare earth corp has project for 17m RMB to processing Branch Medium-Lean Oxide Ore
this is a project from 2023 in Hainan with goal of boosting iron content from 62.% to 65%+ of 2 million ton per year
Sinosteel international and Baosteel Baiyuan.
about 15m ton of media and low grade iron ore. This ore has an average grade of 25 to 30% + 5.5% rare earth oxide and 20% fluorite. not effectively sorted & utilized.
Using internationally leading hydrogen based ore phase conversion tech, Sinostell constructed a suspended magnetization roasting system with annual processing capacity of 1.6m ton. This tech will address the complex challenges of utilizing difficult-to-separate, low- and medium-grade oxide ores.
