Republicans are white supremacists. When I say that it's because that's the logic they're thinking why they're not worried over losing HB-1 visa immigrants from overseas. Any white person they think will do a better job. Every non-white person that has STEM job somewhere in the US are affirmative action cases to them and not better than a white person. They're not worried over losing overseas talent because white people are superior and the US doesn't need them so no loss. Why do you think they were adamant against Trump allowing over a half a million Chinese students in the US? Despite how a large portion of the US's artificial intelligence AI developers are Chinese after claiming AI is macro level changing technology in the world. It's because of whites and no one else. I have to laugh at all these people trying to convince MAGA that this is going to be damaging to the US like they're able to see that? It's white supremacist philosophy. If they don't believe it then white people are no longer superior.

This is what happens when Russia wins the Ukraine War.

The Bagram airfield is well within China's striking distance anyway.
This seem more to do with Trump week long visit to Gulf countries that have many deals and bombing of Iran. its not like US has to sell to Europe. US arms are cheaper and can have tech from Israel and US colonies in Asia. Europe decline will accelerate if it tries to replace US arms and still want to support Ukraine. when Europe decline than its talented people will look for work in US and Gulf.
This millionaire settle every hour is about Europe. Even the tech backwater like France and Italy attracted $250B investment from UAE.

Idk, you must be a 10x developer lol. I'm still below principal
I'm not principal either. By Huawei/ByteDance standards I'm trash tier as well lol. In 2023 I interviewed for a US based staff-level engineer role for ByteDance (not that I really wanted the privilege of experiencing 996, more so just for practice and to interact with senior level engineers from China). Two of the interviewers were Chinese engineers based in China, and it was pretty apparent they were not impressed with my performance at all.

I still regularly bomb technical interviews, Chinese or otherwise LMAO

Won the hiring team's hearts but flopped the bitonic subsequence problem in my last round.

Oof thats a tricky one. Easy to trip up since it forces you to use non-optimal algorithm for LIS. Easy to reach for the optimal sequence-building with binary search and end up not taking into account that the LIS up to i is not equivalent to the LIS ending at i. Once you pick the right algorithm for LIS, its just 2 pass LIS, first left to right, then in reverse right to left.

Solving a problem in an interview is a lot harder than when you are solving them on your own. I get tripped up even on problems I've seen before every once in a while (last year I was super happy when I got the calculate string of numbers, +-*/, and parentheses problem. Then I blanked and had to come up with a recursive o(n^2) solution lol). And the interview bar is much higher than it was before 2022, since then I've only been clearing around 1/3 of my interviews.

I did eventually do it with a 2D DP algorithm but ran out of time before I could do edge case handling. Oh well... And yes, those odds are what I've experienced.

Hopefully for those who are not MAGA loons, you spent your Sunday doing something more fun than tuning into that Charlie Kirk memorial sausage fest. But everyone has to know what Stephen Miller had to say.
“Our enemies cannot comprehend our strength, our determination, our resolve, our passion, our lineage, and our legacy hails back to Athens, to Rome, to Philadelphia, to Monticello,” Miller said. “Our ancestors built the cities. They produced the art and architecture, they built the industry.”

Miller added, “To our enemies, you have nothing to give, you have nothing to offer, you have nothing to share, but bitterness. We have beauty, we have light, we have goodness, we have determination, we have vision, we have strength. We built the world that we inhabit now.
If there was ever as clearcut of a declaration of war on those MAGA deem to be undesirable, this is it.
