There's a reason India love all these tiny skirmishes where nothing really changes. That way they can make up all these stories for bollywood.If Indians, their government and their media conspire to hide their losses and come up with imaginary victories, then it doesn't really matter how many victories you do win.
They still spew propaganda that they killed 40 chinese soldiers in galwan. They keep spewing lies so many times that eventually it becomes alternative version of events.
Unless India is literally forced to surrender on live TV, I don't think you ever get truth from them.
Its kind of hard to make up something like 1962 because not only is there footage, people will ask if India won then why is China still holding that piece of land? No matter what stories you make up, actual gains speak for themselves.
