They are certainly selling more planes to India, which will remain a big market for decades to come. Any chance of selling Chinese planes to the Indians?
Sure if the Chinese military industrial complex doesn’t mind negative publicity; Indian incompetence led to shares of Dassault plunging earlier this year.

Western firms are so predictable; coast by on rentier monies and corruption and when you’re forced to compete immediately reach out to your employees in government. Basically the Indian corporate experience.

Russia’s military drills may be over, but Poland isn’t relaxing — and has decided to keep its border with Belarus closed indefinitely, severing a €25-billion-a-year trade artery between China and the EU.

on Friday to better monitor the large-scale Russian-Belarusian “

” exercise.

But what was billed as a temporary precaution now looks open-ended, with the government citing “concern for the safety of Polish citizens” and adding that “traffic will be restored once the border is fully safe.”

Crucially, the shutdown hits a trade route that moves 90 percent of rail freight between China and the EU.

On that route, cargo volumes between China and the EU grew 10.6 percent in 2024, while the value of goods jumped nearly 85 percent to €25.07 billion. The corridor now accounts for 3.7 percent of all EU-China trade, up from 2.1 percent a year earlier — a lifeline for e-commerce giants like Temu and Shein.
Werent there new north/arctic sea route from CN to Poland?

Nvidia takes $5 billion stake in Intel, offers chip tech in new lifeline to struggling chipmaker

So thats how they are gonna structure the deal huh
In the 90's Microsoft took a $150M stake in Apple as a PR stunt to calm down the monopolistic accusations against them. They sold it 5 years later and got a decent little 250% return. Today, Jensen is being strong-armed by the US government to do something similar, despite no actual potential benefit to doing so. Who is Intel's visionary that has the will and charisma to turn the company around? That new Chinese-America CEO that is likely going to be booted due to growing accusations of being a CCP spy from Tom Cotton and the like soon? Only to be replaced by Gelsinger again because the board will be in rush to put a butt in the seat? The same guy who made one share of Intel worth the same today as 25 years ago? Lol, this is such a bad use of capital for Nvidia just to appease daddy Trump, I almost feel bad for them.

I don't know extent of the damage this have done to them, but this is not a good look for a company that poses itself as a cyber-security technology firm. Also I wouldn't trust AI agents in handling cyber security, considering recent studies showing how vulnerable they are to attacks.

..."Alarmingly, rather than merely exploiting rare edge cases, we consistently observe near-100% attack success rates across diverse models and deployment scenarios. Moreover, successful attacks exhibit high transferability and universality, significantly compounding their potential real-world impact. These findings underscore fundamental weaknesses in existing defenses and highlight an urgent and realistic risk that requires immediate attention before deploying AI agents more broadly."...

Trump explicitly states that one of the reasons Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan is strategically important is due to its proximity to China’s nuclear weapons manufacturing facilities
Born too late to go to war in the middle east. Born too early to go to war in the middle east. Born just in time to go to war in the middle east. The future existence for Americans for the rest of eternity.

(yes I know Afghanistan is Central Asia, but you get the gist)

You can always count on Afghanistan to fuck around with all of its neighbours.

ABSOLUTELY disagree with the tiktok deal!!!

It should never be sold, I don't care if they are going to ban it. Tiktok should remain 100% under bytedance and nothing less.
This is huge blunder on our part.
