My opinions regarding a possible attack on Turkey:
The attack on Qatar was a direct message to Turkey. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they attack Turkey next (i.e. Turkish bases abroad) in some way within just a couple of months. Meanwhile, Erdoğan is busy still finding new ways to commit high treason in order to cling to power.
He has intentionally weakened the military -particularly the air force- leaving Turkey very vulnerable to an attack as a result...
Don't believe/laugh all you want, but Article 5 most certainly won't protect Turkey, especially if Israel attacks Turkish personnel in Syria or even if Turkish soil is attacked.
We've long passed the point where there are any repercussions for anything they do.
Turkey neither has an air force that can match their technological strength and numbers, nor the vast missile inventory of Iran.
Critical projects, such as Kaan, TF-2000, Siper Block 3, Milden, or the Aircraft Carrier, are each at least three to five years away from entering service.
