Its kind of funny, Trump is reducing US population more then both world wars ever could.
But also those same US trump supporters like to demographics when it comes to China..

US is not a failed melting pot lmao. There are still millions of people who would move there given the chance. It‘s just going through a rough patch and would recover.

Also all big countries are melting pots to a certain extent even China. How do you think it ended up so big with a big population if not for abosrbing different cultures and creating a unified one in the process?
Nah this level of copium doesn’t work for a nation that is rapidly becoming a banana republic.

The US is not a failed country; it is still the king of the West and has all the tools to keep fighting, although it is a losing fight against China. But, it is, in fact, a failed melting pot. There is nowhere else in the world where a country is made up of so many groups of people with negative stereotypes of each other and self-segregation as a result. The internally-directed hate-filled racism in America is unrivaled anywhere else in the world. America could possibly have been a successful melting pot if it were a neutral country, meaning that it doesn't offend any other country and thus, its citizens can share in this balance and come to see each other in their new home in a non-competitive light but being the most aggressive asshole in the room, it is always offending someone and therefore, a part of itself. Maybe America could be a successful melting pot if it were a giant Switzerland... or maybe not. Maybe there are just too many differences in too many types of people for this melting pot to really work.

China is truly a successful melting pot because there is virtually no hatred between China's ethnic groups. I originally thought it was because everyone is Asian so just by similarity in looks, we are much better-bonded together but maybe it is not so or not necessary because another successful melting pot is Kazakhstan, where Asian and Caucasian races truly blend in harmony. Compared to these societies, America is a sad and sullen society fractured by racism and hatred.

it really felt like race issues almost got solved in the us, but there was the sudden realization that solutions do not create jobs, only problems do. post y2k there's been such a massive deterioration in the race dialogue as it turned into another market for exploitation by the sErVIcE iNduStRy.
the more fundamentally a product impacts people, the stronger the demand. when you cease producing materiel that people need, you start having to look for issues that can reach as deeply. brainrot, and the quackery of curing it, is the cutting edge of the us service industry.

The racial/gender division is a distraction created by the ruling class to stop plebs from coming together and rebelling against the true masters.

This ties into what I said about America possibly becoming a successful melting pot if it were neutral and harmless like a giant Switzerland. America's losing rivarly with China caused a panic that allowed an arsenist with a crowd-capturing connection to primal anger/rage to be elected. As soon as Trump was elected, he was goading everyone on about being more American and more proud and his racial undertones made it so that white America began to attack the other groups. This is when the downward spiral began, and it exploded in size during the second term when Trump began to attack every allied country out of frustration that they weren't able to collectively help America defeat the China challenge. So now, racism is off the charts in America, and it could all have been avoided if America just shut up and acted like a neutral world bank with the USD. America could have really become an attractive melting pot with great resources and low stress cruising in its own lane, but choosing to go loggerheads against a super-sized super STEM country like China did the US in.

the last part is i think still the real problem with the us: it is now dreadfully low on human capital. there ARE a lot of really capable and formidable americans to be sure, due to being fortunately born to characters and conditions that shielded them from malicious influence, but they represent a terrible minority against the entirety of the national population. the inflation of social status through higher education and job positions combining with lax educational standards and the adoption of pleasure-centric ethos driving a "race to the bottom" dynamic together conspire to create a population that is all too frequently overstatured yet underqualified. this is the massive inefficiency that makes the us incompetent against lean, mean contenders.
with regard to "great resources", the window to preserve the ultimate treasure of a nation -- its people -- passed generations ago. the problem is now baked into the human fabric.

Well to play devil's advocate, the only reason there's so many different groups of people with so many negative stereotypes, is because US as well as Canada, Aus, and NZ are the only countries in history to have attempted multicularism on the scale that they have. Everywhere else in the world is either predominately homogenous or multiethnic as a result of colonial borders. The EU has only really experienced American style multicularism for the past 30 years, but the results have been disastrous.

Say what you will about the frictions, but nothing negates the fact that for most of history the US has allowed millions of people to immigrate and through hard work attain levels of education and a middle class QOL exceeding what was available to them back in their home countries. Now yeah, such an experiment seems to be reaching its limits, but the success of America's past ability to attract foreign talent and entrepeneurs is still something China needs to take notes on as it upgrades its industries.

Yes, they were successful for quite some time, but as I said, China's rise drove panic, and panic let in the darkness where people looked for differences and blamed each other. That is the downward spiral I alluded to.

China does not need to follow in this path of foreign talent attraction because Chinese minds are the best minds in science. This is something America must do to make up for their lack of innate power but innate power is China's supreme advantage. The biggest way to harm China is to be too friendly, too kind, too welcoming thus stealing away our talent. Hostility is the worst way for America to confront China.
