Oh "He envision". There are too many megalomaniacs in the US. Elizabeth Holmes, Adam Neumann, AI Crypto stooges and so on.NBC covering Mach Industries. Similar to Anduril, this company envisions selling "cheap" drones to the US military for use against enemies like China. China has become a buzzword these days for military startups asking for funding and contracts.
The 21-year old CEO of Mach Industries, Ethan Thornton envisions swarms of cheap drones flying over populated areas (in China) to deliver their payload to destroy civilian infrastructure and factories. The objective is to shut down China's industries. So the new generation of US elites are dropping the good guys pretense. They are openly talking on mainstream media about targeting Chinese civilians to win a war. Depravity or copium? Maybe its both.
Anduril and Mach have been talking big about fighting an industrial drone war against the largest producer of drones and rare earths on the planet. The last time a smaller industrial power attacked a bigger industrial power and murdered its civilians, it didn't end well for the smaller one.
I've never gotten where this "Let's build lots of cheap drones to overwhelm China" idea comes from. China is the land of cheap (and expensive) drones. It is literally impossible to outbuild or to out innovate Chinese producers in this field, so what are they peddling? (It's probably a grift.)I find it deeply offensive that these little mfers think they can out-Temu China.
Any news on the su uav drone?Oh "He envision". There are too many megalomaniacs in the US. Elizabeth Holmes, Adam Neumann, AI Crypto stooges and so on.
In China you have the Academics (Research Labs) and the Industry (Military and Civilian). The "academics" do the research, fundamental and practical, The industry then take that research to develop practical cost efficient products that will work in real life environments.

Nowadays In the US becoming more common to see these "visionaries" crypto stooges making the pentagon to spend billions in overvalued startup overpriced crypto bro fantasies that have little practical applications. Hey i'm not complaining.
This is how Japanese media has been controlled.Japanese media:

The problem with laser weapons is that their functionality depends on the environment conditions is not surprising to see they could have trouble. That is known knowledge. This is bad news. I think China has to work on their defense system more. First it was the HQ9 defense system for Pak that didn't shoot down Brahmos on many occasions.
Only the offensive system seems to be working as expected.
Hopefully soonAny news on the su uav drone?

Ground- Air defense is difficult, let put Israel as an example. Iranian missiles give Israel the beaten of their lifetime and that is taking into account that Israel has a pretty good multi-layered defense systems and still got clubbed like a baby seal.
In the case of Pakistan, they beat India pretty bad in Air-Air defense, so they got that. In the case of missiles defense sometime a good offense is the best defense, Pakistan missile arsenal should increase enough to club Indian cities into submission in the case of a fire exchange and that way you develop deterrence.
Did they really knock down 55/60? Or is it a propaganda? Ukrainians have been lying a lot since the beginning of the war. If they were knocking down at that rate, Ukraine would have run out of missile long time ago.I gave credit to the offensive system but I still haven't seen a good article talking about china defensive system.
The way that Ukraine knock down 55 out of 60 missiles from Russia is insane. I don't believe in 100% defensive system. But to achieve Ukraine's interception rate, it is very satisfying.
