wouldn’t the box on top behind the turret prevents the turret from turning? It must be a temporary fixture.

Do you mean the one that's right beside the grille? It looks permanent to me. And the turret shape is a octagon, so I think the clearance should be OK.

They must've done a fit check with the turret before finalizing the design, because if they screw up it might be some of the most public oopsies in PLA equipment design in a while.

Very interesting to get his comment on this. Confirms the VLS under the lid I guess + the drone controller and the heat dissipation vent. Makes me wonder the thermal signature on this.

It makes me wonder if you have 3 guys operating the drones, recon UGV and everything else, what's the point of still having tanks. Just protect this vehicle really well and you are all set. You can destroy any armored vehicle with your VLS or unmanned assets. And the 2 guys in front just need to protect the vehicle and drive around. Situation awareness is so good with so many sensors.

Also, what's the tube looking things at the back of the vehicles and next to the door hatch? Is that suppose to be some kind of launchers also?

That might be another reason why the T-100 has just a 105mm gun, as it's the vehicles behind that are meant to fight tanks. Its role then would be to "tank" enemy fire with its thick frontal armor and its variety of APS systems (especially if the RWS can be used as part of the APS too as rumored), and destroy enemy non-tank vehicles and fortifications with cheap and relatively numerous 105mm shells.

Ugh, now i am not sure it's 3 operators anymore. There should be enough space for 6+3, assuming turret is non-penetrating.
Dismounting is slowed down, but this is a reasonable price for wastly improved mounted combat capability,

Direct assault/meeting engagement probably.
