The inspection of the troops by the Comrade President has begun.

There are a few vehicles with large quadcopters on the top, have we seen those before? I don't recall seeing them here.

Edit: They swapped the angles just as they drove past the UAVs... missed a good view of the tailless UAVs.

They did have some good shots on the return trip.

Probably not as bad in person. The fog is probably just causing more trouble for the camera for some shots trying to find the right exposure

I feel like these drip feed reveals are taking the shine off the parade. If the reveals happened at the parade, the shock effect would have been profound. Now I think the shock is going away.

Believe it or not, this is by intention. It psychologically allows the other side to calm down gradually and engage in rationalising away the progress made by China's military. Full on Sputnik moment style is more psychologically traumatising and creates a heightened emotional response. This allows the US to downplay Chinese military developments unless they are thinking about it objectively. Even just one of these larger UAVs is something the US has not been able to fully develop and put into service. They only have the Ghost Bat and the like of small to medium, subsonic drones which Chinese aerospace representatives have mocked in leaked conference vids. The Chinese CCAs are heavy supersonic. There are also about 4 new heavy CCAs. US has yet to put a single medium one into service.

Very good. the general shape of the intakes is now clear. I think both exhausts are very clearly round ones.
