Then, I can across another complaint and this time about China's move away from spiritualism and towards hedonism!! I was flabbergasted and frankly dumbfounded for him to write such drivel. Religion as a guiding force? See India. Hedonism? See U.S. and many western influence countries that are full on brothels for WESTERNERS!!
They don't know a shit about hedonism. Epicurus, the first who talked about "hedon" described hedon as a state of no disturbance, no pain and spiritual calmness. Westerners don't even bother to take a look to their own philosophy. Communism, another rejectable western child, rejects the theological and supernatural matter of religions and view them as cultural elements of the past, mostly ethical rule over society. Viewing them as such, a reasonable person if he sees elements of oldschool ethics compatible, applicable, and generally good, why not embrace them? That's the long story short about socialism with Chinese characteristics

From a spiritualist and materielist perspective, China's most critical role is restoring balance to a world thrown completely out of balance by the cumulative depredations of western imperialists and their enablers; for if heaven is a perfect state of harmony, hell is a state of absolute imbalance.

Paper on CPV adoption of best practices in governance from studying and cooperating with CPC, with a specific focus on anti-corruption efforts.

• Since the normalization of relations in 1991, Vietnam and China, two of the five remaining communist regimes, have established a robust framework for mutual learning and cooperation. This collaboration has primarily centred around party governance and cadre training.

• Vietnam has actively studied and adopted elements of China’s successful model, which combines economic reform with strict political control. This approach has allowed Vietnam to maintain communist rule in the face of increasing global pressure for democratic reforms.

• The process of learning from China involves two key dynamics: desirability versus capability, and effectiveness versus appropriateness. While Vietnam desires to achieve the same level of effectiveness as China in certain policy areas, it has been cautious in fully replicating the Chinese model, and shown consideration for its appropriateness to Vietnam’s unique circumstances and for China’s underlying motivations.

• Vietnam has adopted a mixed approach to learning from China, incorporating direct emulation, selective adaptation and drawing inspiration from China’s experiences. One notable example of this is the ongoing anti-corruption efforts of both regimes, which share some similarities but also have distinct differences.

• The learning relationship between Vietnam and China is not without its challenges. Historical animosities, maritime disputes and anti-China sentiment all play a role in shaping this partnership. As a result, Vietnam has had to employ innovative tactics to adapt Chinese lessons to fit its own circumstances.

Vietnam is interesting because it really is worse China. More corrupt, more chaotic leaderships, more pathetic winology (for example the whole “lunar new year” thing, rebrand aliexpress hanfu as Vietnamese etcetc), less STEM students in percentage, less growth and research in similar stages, no GFW. It tells us if your whole identity is built upon winology against China (Mongolia, Cuck Korea, Vietnam etc), you can’t even copy properly……

Westerner learn Xi Thought relized the obivous truth and call it a Landmark Discovery: China is NOT trying to take over the world.!

Wang Yi repeated the phrase “no intention to replace the United States” in a phone call with incoming Secretary of State Marco Rubio in January 2025. Although Wang reportedly used a subtle Chinese idiom, “act accordingly” (好自为之), to warn Rubio not to challenge China's core interests, including Taiwan, he also emphasized, “We have no intention of surpassing or replacing anyone, but we must defend our legitimate right to development.”79

I just wanna point out one thing: I was the first (not really) to highlight Wang Yi's use of the Chinese idiom '好自为之' as a warning to Marco Rubio (in this forum). Credit on me.:p

Tsk, I hope they will continue to enforce the ban on Lubio, the opportunistic anti-China element, from visiting China.
王毅表示,大国要有大国的样子,应当承担应尽国际责任,应当维护世界和平,应当帮助各国实现共同发展。希望你好自为之,为中美两国人民的未来,为世界的和平与稳定发挥建设性作用。

Translation is bit unconcure, 好自为之 This term carries a stronger connotation of admonishment or disciplinary warning.

It's more like I hope you konw WHAT is the best.
