, Alexander Inozemtsev, general designer of UEC-Aviadvigatel, told TASS.

"Compared to the PD-14 engine, the gas temperature in front of the turbine is increased by about 100 degrees Celsius, the compression ratio and the degree of double — circuit are increased by about 25 percent," the specialist said.

According to the general designer, within the framework of the PD-35 program, technologies are being developed that can well be attributed to the technologies of the sixth generation engines: high-temperature ceramic composite materials, intelligent self-propelled guns (automatic control system) and a diagnostic system, more electric motor technologies.

As Russians like to say, "Аналогов в мире просто нет!"

I remember the UTD-32 being announced a very... very long time ago.

Yes, originally for the BMP-3M. That's the overhauled BMP-3 with the engine relocated to the front and two rear hatches rear facing and not over the engine. The revised layout now seems to be on hold so the new engine is being fitted old style rear racing. Newer batches of BMP-3 seems like iteratively somewhere between the original BMP-3 and the proposed BMP-3M standard.
