US has like 10 bases around Iran on the other side of it, they dont need Pakistan nor will Pakistan allow it.
The reason US is getting tough on india is because the freebie-time they had given india for 10 years to get their shit together is over, its time for Return on investment.

This must be the one Allan warnes mentioned the '4th' rafale that was declared unrepairable
My "reading between the lines"of this recent anti-india stance by Trump /West.Trump -orange bufffoon that he is -is still the POTUS and has access to immense resources/intelligence and he was alerted to the sindoor conflict as it happened and KNEW 5-7 IAF jets(3 Rafales etc) were downed by PAF-using PLAAF techniques /J10c's/PL15e aam's -that is why he invited Gen Munir over to talk-and probably enjoy steaks and single-malt whiskey dinner while watching USAAF/DIA tapes of the IAF being shot down etc.Now to compound this little shit-show Modi/toadies come to the WH saying that india won the sindoor conflict with outright lies/bs right to Trump's face hoping to curry favour/benefits-Trump being a lying grifter himself just had modi trying to scam HIM to his face and the result is this visceral rejection/hate to modi/india-lies/bs/scams. After May 7,Pakistan's and China's reputations both went up significantly-india's dropped like a Rafale being hit with a PL15.

Father in law of killed soldier confirms "he operated S-400 in the Indian Army."

Looks like PL-15 hit more Rafales than they have brought down. One of them was lucky enough to limp to base.
These quotes are useful to keep in mind whenever the next Indo-Pak clash takes place. The Pakistani side's statements have aged quite well whereas the Indian side has gone from bad to worse. So for upcoming statements, I will depreciate anything the Indian side says given their poor track record.

As an aside, the fact that a Rafale managed to survive explains why the Pakistanis thought they had downed 5 or 6 planes. Apparently they assumed every hit was also a confirmed KIA. An honest mistake.

BTW, I am not so convinced that Rafale is as bad a plane as some assumed here. Equipment is only as good as the crew that uses it and if incompetents use it, then it hardly makes much sense to blame the planes. Though I will concede that Rafales are probably overpriced. But this is what India has to pay given that they have snubbed Russian jets and refuse to buy from China.

No one thinks Rafale is a bad plane. We just hate how Bhakts overhype them as J-20 killers.
